Got my first ever cavity filled here. Had no discomfort whatsoever prior to the filling . After this filling I can’t eat on that side of my mouth and they seem to be refusing to fix it for me . I called they said they would look into the X-rays and get back with me and I have yet to hear back… Also received the worst cleaning I’ve ever received at this dentist office took about 10 minutes and she didn’t even remove the plaque and another two dentists saw me after the cleaning to remove my wisdom teeth and didn’t say anything or take care of the cleaning that needed to be done just left the plaque . I called and was told by the head office lady that it’s strange because the higher up dentists saw me after the cleaning. My thoughts exactly how did that many people fail to notice that the cleaning wasn’t done. I had to come back and finally they cleaned my teeth. But still waiting for them to fix their botched cavity filling .

I went to this office as a new patient expecting a cleaning. Was a new patient but had been on a regular cleaning schedule at another office. They said they don’t do cleanings on the first visit. Ok. Fine. Had to schedule another appt to come back. Upon return presented a secondary insurance and they said well this one take a bit to hear back from hopefully we’ll hear before end of your appt. I said, well, it’s just a cleaning so it should be fine. She said it’s actually a deep cleaning which isn’t covered by your insurance. I said, well I just want a normal cleaning that is covered. They said well once the hygienist says you need a deep cleaning we won’t do a normal. WHAT?! please explain to me why especially if the other isn’t covered by my insurance? She said it’s policy. This is INSANE. The fact that a patient doesn’t have a choice in their care and has to leave without a perfectly fine treatment rather than an uncovered one is upsidown to me. You should lose your license for not treating at all rather than “undertreating”

I haven’t been to the dentist in many years and let’s face it, haven’t been taking care of my teeth how I should. I was worried about how much would need to be done and the cost of it. Everyone there made it very comfortable and they got me up to date on how I should be taking care of my teeth and all of the new practices that could help me get them back in shape. They explained all of their financial aid programs and answered all questions. I’m scheduled to start my journey to regain my smile with them!

Let me start by saying I visited Aspen Dental originally in March, had a consultation and was told I needed a deep cleaning, which kind of surprised me because I regularly visited my previous dentist every 6 months, but I went along. The hygienist was wonderful and did a great job. I scheduled my 6 month cleaning at that time and was not informed it would not be a regular cleaning.Today I went in for that appointment. The previous hygienist was not there. The new one was hard to understand and not really personable, but she was ok. When I go to check out, I find out my bill for my cleaning with my insurance was $162. For over 20 years with my previous dentist I had $0 out of pocket for cleanings with my insurance.I was informed today I had a periodontal cleaning. I said told I was never told I was having a special cleaning. The receptionist said, since I had previously had a deep cleaning then every six months I would have a periodontal cleaning. So I asked how much is a regular cleaning? Her response was once you have a deep cleaning “you can’t go back” to regular cleaning. Excuse me? I responded that I was never informed of having a “periodontal” cleaning and it was not fair that this was thrown on me when on their website they state “ no surprises.” The receptionist was no help, no apology, even when I told her, she lost a customer. I agree with previous reviewers, they are just out for the money. The receptionist said “I can’t go back”, but I can. I can go back to a different dentist and I can go back to all my friends, family, and co workers and share this experience with Aspen Dental. I do not recommend Aspen Dental in Saint Johns!

Disappointed.. I moved to Florida from Maryland where I went to Aspen Dental..They found my information but refused their denture guarantee to realign my dentures. They wanted $857.00. I’ll find a new dentist.

The staff were excellent. Lawrence was one of the most attentive dental assistants I’ve ever had the pleasure of having by my side during a procedure. He made me feel seen and heard when explaining my previous dental history. Dr. Powell had amazing bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable, despite my overwhelming anxiety, during my procedure. Both Lawrence and Dr. Powell made me want to make this my permanent dentist office, even though I have another Aspen Dental office close to my house. Thank you so much!

My family all goes to this office. We all were scheduled back a couple months ago for our yearly check up. The day before an appointment they call to confirm the appointment which is great. When we get to the office they say “we don’t have a hygienist & won’t for another month”. So we all reschedule our appointments. I call them the day before my appointment to confirm my appointment & they said I’m good to go for the next day. The next day I come in they tell me they no longer cover my insurance & haven’t for a few weeks. Why couldn’t you guys tell me that when I called to confirm my appointment? I wasn’t a new patient so they had all the insurance information on hand & knew about. The girl that sits at the front desk doesn’t care to actually do her job. Just to sit there & collect a paycheck.

This probably a worst place to get your dental services. I visited the facility in Jan 2022 and pay my share of copayment for the services and gave all the information of the insurance (multiple times) however they did not submitted a claim and now put the rest of the money in collection (which should have covered by insurance and they pre run my eligibility before servicing). Now I am trying to follow up with them and for last 2 months and they can not even get me a good answer on what the issue occurred with insurance. Apparently their system is now down over 2 moths and does not matter if you call them or visit the location you get the same answer. Very poor customer service.

I decided to go to Aspen Dental for a full set of implants. My extractions happened February 20, 2023. I’ve had dentures since then. No one understands why the teeth curl under and really look claw like. I’m still wearing them. This is a very physical and emotional procedure and dealing with these goofy looking dentures has been has been difficult. I was told they were designed this way to match my original bite. I’m really hoping my implants don’t look like my dentures. I’ll keep you posted. This whole procedure has cost about $32,000.00.

Everyone that works here is AMAZING! So gentle, kind, comforting. I had major anxieties and was embarrassed by my teeth and they made me feel at ease and have taken care of me wonderfully. Lawrence is an angel and he is the reason I didn’t get up and walk out of there from my anxieties. Highly recommend!!!

This Aspen team was great! After having a bad experience with a different location, this office really stepped it up. Krista was amazing and did a phenomenal job of cleaning my teeth. She also retook measurements that weren't taken correctly at the other location and explained every step of the way. She's the reason I'll be back and making this location my regular dental office.

I was grateful to have an option to schedule an emergency appointment for a broken bridge. I guess my expectation of getting everything done on the first visit was unwarranted but it would be nice if the website, where I scheduled an emergency appointment, disclosed that some emergencies require more than one visit.
