I always have a great experience when visiting. Additionally, I was able to have my contacts shipped directly to my home, which is different from what I’ve experienced at other eye doctors surprisingly.

I don't usually leave too many reviews but after my experience at Coastal Clear I felt like This is one of those times where I just had to share ... Dr. Mandy was amazing ... so patient with me and believe me when I tell you that was not an easy task .. (I am the most indecisive person on the planet) I must have tried on every single pair of glasses ..every.single.one before deciding on the perfect pair ... the exam was actually delightful I usually get anxiety and am worried that I will pick the wrong setting when they ask you which one can you see better sometimes they look close but she took her time and went back and fourth as many times as I needed and I felt like royalty like they shut down the office and it was just me in there and the Doctor had one patient ... It was so chill I didn't want to leave ...I actually had fun (didn't even know that was possible) Dr. Mandy's warm and friendly personality made me feel like I was amongst my friends and not at an eye doc she had me in tears laughing I can honestly say I've never had a better experience in my life she took her time and explained everything to me you can tell she really loves what she does and is good at it ! I will tell I will never go anywhere else if I could give 100 stars I would!!! If someone asks me if I would recommend Coastal Clear I would say absolutely!!!!!Even if you don't live in Florida I'd tell ya it's worth the drive or buying a plane ticket!!! Thank you for an absolutely perfect experience! Now if only every business could follow suit !!!!!!!!!!!

The best eye care , I have received !!! Very thorough eye exam and eye care . Exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond and the Doctor is the best . Very knowledgeable with experience and expertise in her field . I would recommend to anyone looking for both an excellent doctor and wonderful glasses and contacts . 5 stars !!! We have been going to different eye care places since we moved to Jacksonville 8 years ago. Moving to St. Johns County from Mandarin, we stumbled on this small yet quaint eye care specialist, Coastal Clear Eye care. Not only were we treated like a VIP but it beats the big 2, Lencrafters and Vision works in care and service. The only drawback is the selection of glasses. However, we were pleased with our new frames that we get every 2 years. In the future, contact lenses might be an option, but I can not put the lenses in my eyeballs. I guess it is a fear of poking myself in the eye. I had one reservation about Coastal Clear Eyecare since my eye prescription changed every year, I could not retain my old prescription for my Rayban sunglasses. I would have to pay an additional charge. They did advertise some sort of special. If you are in the mood for an eyecare lab that is low key and will treat you as a person and not a number run don't walk to Coastal Clear Eyecare. Tell them Jerry sent you!

I am so happy I found Dr. Mandy. I needed a new eye doctor and she is the best! She is kind, patient, and thorough! I had A LOT of questions and she took the time to answer them all. She was very dedicated throughout the multifocal contact lens trialing period. I have a rare eye disorder and she took extra time during the eye exams to make sure I obtained the best vision I could with my glasses and contacts! Thank you!
