Linda!!! I haven’t gotten my nails done “all the way” in about a decade. I’ve been traveling and “roughing it” since 2020, now I live in South FL and come back home to Jax for my dental work! As a young woman, this mani/pedi was for the history books! I never felt so seen and taken care of while getting my nails done. From picking which pink looked best on my skin tone for me- to explaining all my options in the middle of the service so I can feel 1000% walking out of there! I left with a set I couldn’t have dreamed of, and NOW Linda, you have a new repeat customer!
I am already planning to come back and get these refilled! Thank you thank you thank you guys!!!

I've been a loyal customer of Nails n Joy every since Steven & Kayla became the owners. Steven is my manicurist. He is quite skilled with long nails, his customized designs are very creative, and he patiently takes his time. Every nail tech here is kind, gentle, and gives top notch service! They are all professional, personable, and a joy to be around. I literally call this place my “second home” because they make me feel like family. Nails n Joy never disappoints, which is why I refuse to go anywhere else.

Getting done and nail shape.
Yesterday was different, owner was very irritated, he asked same shape and I said yes, thinking he would remember just like he pulled my sale nail polish,
He started shaping and my nails were so pointy, I pointed out if he can round or flatten them a little please, he was very annoyed by me asking, he neger even cut or cleaned my cuticles when he always does, I never felt so unwelcome, I decided on another nail polish this time a bit brighter red and he basically was rushing me through it like crazy, and basically trying to push me out the door. I told him in the beginning how one finger nail was not the right size for that nail and how my tip looked so narrow and he said all tips have numbers for each finger.
I go to pay and I was charged $5 extra and never mentioned ahead of time. I asked if his prices increased and Steve said no,
I said I never paid $54 for full acrylic set he said it was an extra $5 charge for different nail shape? I didn’t say anything
Because I didn’t want to make a scene in front of other clients but I hope he reads my message and how much I loved going here and I never felt worse getting my nails done and Steve made me feel like a number and pushed me out the door and Steve did a sloppy job on my nails yesterday .look at my cuticles I would expect a better job when you spend $50 dollars for acrylic nail set. He Never told me it was extra charge. It is not about the extra $5 it’s about the principal and then let me make the decision and only show me nail shapes. I didn’t know anything about a different nail shape. He always did my nails he never asked me before. Why ask and change me extra and not made me aware?? Plus the whole time he was doing my nails he made me feel lime I jave done something wrong and I kept wfen apologize for no reason so he can do my nails right: so stupid.

They are so patient and accommodating! They make sure you like the color and shape of your nails…they don’t make you feel bad if you feel corrections need to be made. Just an overall very friendly place!

I was trying a new place and this was a great experience. The place is small and cozy. I had a mani pedi. The nail tech did a great job. Unfortunately the polish started peeling after 2 days. I am guessing with the polishes being right by the window in the hot Florida sun isn't helping. Five stars for the update. I will be returning.

Love this salon so much! It is immaculately clean and everyone is so nice and welcoming. It a relaxing salon that isn’t loud and crowded. You can really unwind here. After my mani/pedi I had a neck, shoulder, and scalp massage. I highly recommend Stephen and his crew!

My first time at this salon and will be a regular moving forward. Libya did a wonderful job on my builder gel over natural nails. Her attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. They are perfectly shaped, thin and look amazing. She was very pleasant, a good conversationalist and thoughtful.
