Recently bought new camper and was about to be thrown out of my neighborhood association guard dogs. Fortunately Recnation RV storage had a unit available the size needed for my camper at a reasonable price, and with the help of Vanessa at RecNation I am now in a storage spot. Vanessa went above and beyond to get me into a spot and now able to get my association off my case!

This company is Greedy and has No idea how to handle their customers. They force their clients to leave their existing facilities, because they assume that Everyone wants to pay crazy High prices for covered units. It's a huge mistake to use this company- They do not care about their customers at all- I let them know on a live phone call that I would be moving out of the unit- which I did on the Exact day I said I would-- And they still charged me for unit for the next month-- that I wasn't even occupying at all... They bully their customers, and only care about their GREEDY selves, unfortunately.... If you have other options-- definitely do yourself a favor- Go elsewhere---

This is a predatory landlord. We had our boat and trailer stored at the Rec Nation storage facility on Saint Johns Parkway for the last 3 almost 4 years. When we leased this property initially, it was under different ownership. Since the current owners took over, rent has increased almost 300%. As a result, we took our business elsewhere. Knowing our lease had a 30-day cancelation clause, we notified Rec Nation that we vacated our space on May 11, 2025. I called the property to correct that day and also emailed the same day documenting the same. So as usual, we received our notice of funds deducted from our checking account as expected. To our surprise, the full month's rent was deducted from our account. I spoke to Israel again asking why we were charged for a full month instead of the prorated amount for the rent for only the final eleven days for the remainder of the notice period. We were told that was their policy even though we were never informed of this change. We were told there would be no return of the $200 of the almost $300 overcharged to our account. Please be aware of this unfair and unlawful business practice performed by this company. We have retained legal counsel to represent us

RecNation's customer service is extremely poor. There was a time that you can call and speak with someone quickly. Now, every time I call, you have to leave a voice message. It can take up to several days for someone to call you back.
Recently, I had the following experiences:
(1) Their gate system was down on a holiday weekend. They did not send out any communication advising that their gate system was down nor the manual lock code to get into the property.
(2) I called regarding a billing question. The representative stated that I received an email about the increased rate. When I informed her that I did not in fact receive the email, she proceed to raise her voice and tell me that I did receive it.
(3) I called to discuss cancelling my agreement. The representative explained that IF I can show there is a near by lot that has a lower price, they might consider a price match. The individual proceed to place me on-hold and never came back to the line. In fact, she disconnected the call after about 3-5 minutes.

LOOK ELSEWHERE. We had a spot reserved and paid for in the storage yard close to us, but when I called back to find out which spot was our assigned spot it 'wasn't in the system' and they had cancelled it. They were able to find a spot for us far away from the original location, and now we've been on a 'waiting list' for over 2 years for the spot we originally had reserved. And add to it all the rate increases EVERY YEAR. The price has more than doubled since they purchased multiple storage yards in our area. Reading other reviews, it appears we are not the only ones they do this to. Your best bet is to find another storage yard.

Horrible. Non stop rate increases. No one who works there seems to be able to actually accomplish anything, horrible customer service.
Edit to response: Your assessment of your customer service is extremely overrated. When you shut down your lot I was at you sent an email saying someone would call me. 20 days later that hasn't happened. I had to try and contact yall and by the time anyone answered, you had no equivalent space for me and I was told to be out by Jun 20th. Additionally, I last left a voice mail 2 weeks ago and that call has yet to be returned.

We have been storing our boat here for 13 years and since Rec Nation bought it there are non stop rate hikes. It would be nice if the price wouldn't change every 3 months. And hopefully the gate will not continue to be an issue. Nice reply I must say.

Not super happy on the rate hikes and insurance charges since rec nation has taken over the location on St. John’s Pkwy. Also can we please get the gate situation figured out? Every other week I get an email about the gate not working and a bike lock is in place for the time being. That’s not acceptable. Also my boat and trailer were damaged in this lot a few months back and rec nation was unable to identify what happen with said security cameras here.
