Disappointed. Received oil and tire rotation service on Saturday only to get a tire pressure alert not 2 miles into my ride home. After calibration did not work, I had to ask time off from work in order to have them rectify the situation. I received no apology for the oversight. How does a company return a car to a customer after a tire rotation without checking tire pressure first? Negligent.

We always use Tuffy Auto at Fruit Cove for oil changes and general maintenance. A few weeks ago we were experiencing an issue with our Cadillac. After a test drive and repair, we were still experiencing the issue. After another test drive the manager and team were will to try performing a 3x flushing at no charge. This was not a guarantee it would work. It was giving it a “college try”. Well, that did the job.Some garages\businesses would charge for that “college try” but Tuffy of Fruit Cove is not that type of business. They know the meaning and worth of making the customer satisfied. They also are human and can understand and appreciate how expensive car repair can be. That for me is proof these guys are legit and worth my repeated business.Services: General repairs & maintenance

UPDATE: Got a call from one of the owners, Kyle. We discussed my experience. He didn't make excuses. He just listened and was apologetic and asked to make it right. The next day, he and Baca did a great job making me whole again. It displayed their team's know how and Baca kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. They reinstilled my confidence in them and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. Thanks guys! ??Made a morning appointment for diagnostics. They had the car all day. Charged me $168 and provided no answers. Wanted to keep it another day. What for another $168 to provide no answers? Meanwhile the car is still rattling under the hood and engine still seems to be misfiring. Leaves me questioning whether they looked at it at all.

Driver's side door handle (exterior) broke off in my hand while we were out of town. I purchased the handle online but that wasnt the whole story. Door actuator assembly had also failed (~20 yr old Vibe), so, after they couldn't find the part, I found it and the work was done up to their usual high quality standard.

Totally help me out when I had to be back in Ft.Lauderdale. Needed a battery replaced for the car they got me in pretty quick and fixed up the car ready to go. Topped off the fluids and checked the tires for me. Thanks guys

This was not a good experience for my daughter dealing with these rude individuals. it's one thing to have an issue with your car and then have to deal with people who obviously should have stated home. will not be going back and will tell others not to patronize this business. Did not even have the courtesy to tell my daughter where her car was parked at. clearly my daughter should have not allowed her tires to get so bad however this is there job to make customers feel welcomed in there establishment.

Made an online appointment with year/make/model of car for a simple alignment. Showed up (early) and then waited for an hour only to be told they don't have anyone with the skills to do an alignment. Don't advertise and book appointments for services you can't perform. Front counter (assume manager) was nice and friendly.

I moved to Jacksonville about a year ago. I love my car so I googled and used yelp to check on shops to do the maintenance on my car. Tuffys Auto St. John's got good reviews so I brought my car to them. They do the maintenance on my Fiesta ST, they do the maintenance on my wife's Chevrolet Volt and they do the maintenance on my daughter's Hyundai Kona.My car is eight years old, my wife's car is 10 years old. I am fully aware that issues will develop. When I bring one of the cars in for service, they do a comprehensive check And tell me what might be needed in the future. My wife's car went in for an oil change. They let her know that her right side CV axle would need replaced. We brought the car in for the CV axle repair, the car also needed an alignment after that. it ended up being a pretty big number, absolutely no problem. Our cars are old, repairs will be needed.We picked up my wife's car and on the way home a caution light appeared, something to do with the ABS. My wife, you turned and went back to Tuffys And they mentioned that the right side wheel bearing needed replaced. One of my red flags at a repair shop is when things go wrong right after a repair. Tuffy had mentioned that the bearings were going, but I hoped to do it in a month or so after accumulating funds. I related to the gang at the desk that the timing was bad for that light to come on, just having spent a lot of money on the CV axle. I used the term bad optics. Long story short, we left the car, we went on a four-day vacation.When we picked up the car, the fee for the right wheel bearing and the left wheel bearing, they replaced both, was zero. I was incredibly grateful to them for what they were doing. They saw that I was a little bit disappointed with the timing of that Service light and they did the job for free. I offered to pay for the wheel bearing and they refused.That is some pretty incredible customer service. I did whine a tiny bit. But in the grand scheme of things, I'm sure they've seen worse. They did an incredible thing, again I am much appreciative of what they did and I will be their customer for as long as I am in the area.Big shout out to Keith and Justin for their great customer service!Jack DeAndrade

UNTRUSTWORTHY, NO CUSTOMER CONTACTLong story short, had a vehicle in for a alignment dropped off at 9:45 am. Front desk said it was to be expected to be done around 5-6 pm due to other jobs. As the day went on I didn't receive any updates on the vehicle. I call at 5:40 pm to get an update and I'm sent straight for voicemail twice. I am forced to pick up the vehicle the next day(no alignment takes 8 hours). Upon arrival at 9:30 am, I am told the vehicle was finished and I paid. As I drive down Race Track Road, I notice the car is now pulling the opposite way(alignment was over corrected). After looking at alignment specs(I asked for), the toe of the one of the wheels is completely off. I also notice the time on the alignment spec sheet says "7/26/23 12:48 pm". I take it back to the shop, ask about why it says the alignment was done at 12:48 pm and I didn't receive a call. Front desk says that's NOT when the alignment was done and they rushed to get it done before close and didn't get a time to call back(complete lie). Technician takes a drive with me to prove car wasn't aligned properly and informs me that the phones don't shut off 30 minutes before close(referring back to when I was sent to voicemail the day before) and that whatever time on the spec sheet is the time the alignment was completed. Front desk failed to update me on vehicles status, and didn't complete the job the first time. Front desk also lied saying the vehicle was rushed and done before closing, however it was completed nearly 5 hours before closing. Extremely frustrating and management is untrustworthy.

although their online appointment system didnt work for me, I just got my 2013 Honda Pilot oil change, brakes, shocks, etc done in a timely and I beleive professional manner.
