Beach House Suites is considered the best place on the beach and a home away from home. The views from every room are exceptional and the location is perfect, with easy beach access. The beach is great, with chairs set up, and the pool is kept clean and not too crowded. The condo-like rooms are excellent and family suites are great, though some guests note the balcony is small. Recent renovations have drawn criticism from long-time visitors, who feel the room setup is now impractical. Specific concerns include the replacement of full-size refrigerators and ovens with mini refrigerators that sometimes do not work well, a lack of kitchen cabinets, reduced closet space, and the use of cheap plastic items instead of nice glasses and silverware. Despite this, the rooms are also described as modern. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and provides good service, making guests feel at home. Management receives praise for handling issues, like disturbances from other guests, effectively. Amenities are fantastic and awesome, including an in-suite washer/dryer and kitchenettes, which provide flexibility. Having access to the Don Cesar's amenities is a huge bonus, including multiple dining options, a phenomenal restaurant, a lovely spa, and a workout room. The kids club activities are well-scheduled. A minor complaint from some guests is that housekeeping or room service is not always on top of things. Overall, it is a highly recommended place that provides a wonderful and lovely stay for families, though some long-standing guests hope for a return to more practical room features.
We've been coming here for 18+ years. We stay at Beach House if there are quite a few of us and at The Don if just a couple. This is absolutely our Happy Place. The pool area/hot tub is great, the beach is amazing, and just sitting on the balcony overlooking the Gulf is so calm and relaxing. We wouldn't stay anywhere... read full comment

Awesome kid friendly facilities! The service on the beach was top notch! Cold Water was available at all times, and there was a mini soccer field to dribble around! Several other games as well! Will be returning soon!

Grand King Suite overlooking the Gulf has an amazing view. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Situated on a less busy but beautiful part of the beach. Within walking distance to restaurants and the Don Cesar. Second time here, doesn't disappoint.
