“Yo the people complaining about free food and lights going out 6 hours before they have to wake up….you all don’t deserve to be helped if it isn’t good enough go somewhere else. I was not afforded the luxuries that you are given. I was an addict for 6 years and most of the time I was not homeless, but for over two years I was and it’s only my fault that I did not use this resource, but I appreciate the things they do for the friends that I have made along the way. If you’re going to make a grievance on this review page, make it a decent one. You should be grateful. Appreciate the things that are good in life, don’t be so negative.”

“Tampa Bay Watch is the real hero. I highly recommend taking a tour of the bay with them! It was such a fun day and an inexpensive way to get on the water and learn about our local wildlife. My bestfriend and I went and were so inspired we got tattoos of local marine life the day after! I also recommend checking out the Discovery Center on the Pier and also staying up to date with local volunteer opportunities. Thank you!”
“Excellent presentation of the history of this place - dating back to the arrival of the first Spanish in Tampa Bay at this location at the inland waterway shores astounding local natives with their armor, guns, horses, and large trans-Atlantic sailing ships. They wanted corn for the horses - not themselves. There is much more.. including the tropical vegetation and peacocks!”

“We have always found this south Tampa Moose lodges to be one of the best. Very warming and friendly. The meals they offer during the week are exceptional and we chose to try the St Patrick's corned beef and cabbage. JJ did a terrific job fixing a great meal for a great price. Tender corned beef, roasted potatoes, sweet carrots and flavorful cabbage. Drinks are reasonable and our bar tenders Macy and Matt are the best . Easy to park and great location. Worth the drive from pineallas county.”
“I love this place .I am very pleased every time I go. The waiting times are not very long if you know when to go. I get a few packages of meat, some fresh and canned vegetables a dozen eggs and a few loaves of bread. What more could you ask for. And usually 1/2-1 gal of milk. Thank you very muchThey make you feel very welcome.I wish I knew what the date is when I wrote this but it all still applies maybe 3 years later. Do yourself a favor and bring a Walker to do your shopping with. There's a nice wheelchair alley to get down the stairs with and you won't have to exchange your groceries. Put the bags on the handle bars Now take the stuff to your car. Simple.”

If you've been looking for an organization to volunteer with or provide donations to, this is it.”
“Used to go with my dad who lived 31 years sober before he passed away. Great place, very welcoming. I am grateful there's a Rebos Club for those who are wanting to get sober and those who are staying sober one day at a time.”
“I've had some good doctors and practitioners, but none as good as Dr. Wallace and Jennifer. I have felt welcome since my first appointment. Everyone in the office is friendly, helpful and most of all considerate. I have finally found a team that has my health and best interest in mind. You want a German experience, you go to a German place. Year after year the German American society puts on a great Oktoberfest. Now I might not be German but they make me want to celebrate with the German beer, the German music and the food! Love love their potato cakes! “This is an amazing space! It is a beautifully restored building that is pays homage to the past of St. Pete while putting action in place to build a better, healthier, and more inclusive future for the area. I have been there 4 times in the past 2 weeks as a student of the community after having returned to greater Tampa/St. Pete area after a 3 year stay in CA and have gained a wealth of knowledge and an abundance of resources in just those 4 visits.”

“This is a true thrift experience. Lots of different items with great prices. Yes, you have to dig through the merchandise and really take your time looking but isn’t that what thrifting is all about? Besides, the volunteers are very kind and friendly. It is a hidden St. Pete gem.”
“I learned Transcendental Meditation many years ago with my wife, but I was working long hours, raising a family, and drinking. I never did it regularly, twenty minutes twice a day. I would meditate occasionally and I even tried mindfulness instead. Then I retired, and my wife asked if I would drive her to a group meditation. When the teacher asked me how my practice was, I admitted that it was mostly good intentions. Jim's review of the practice was very helpful and I had a great meditation there. It really is effortless, but sometimes I make things harder for myself. We went back every month, and I've never skipped again. It's great to be able to shrug off that stress.”

“Brand new, clean place. The staff are very good at their jobs. They make you feel more like family then patients. The all inclusive and very prompt service gives the impression of yester-year, when doctors made house calls and really cared about the patients. Would highly recommend for someone that was all the bells and whistles, yet cozy staff and programs, including breakfast and lunch. There the doctors go to the patient instead of the patient going to the doctors. Wonderful place. It's nice to know they love and care about you.”

Suntan art center is a community of welcoming artists that make you feel right at home. You can take a class while on vacation or if your a resident try different classes throughout the year.”
“Unfortunately I am surrendering my cat because I'm unable to take care of his due to my disability. Roo is such a sweetheart, loving, playful kitty and loves to eat. I'm dropping Roo off September 7 th in the morning and I feel really bad that I have to do this. The person who answered the phone was so nice, warm, kind hearted and very lovely. If you are looking for a perfect cat Roo is Amazing! If someone could possibly scoop him up that would be great! He's an orange cat. I will know more when I get there on Saturday 9/7/2024, but everything is going to go smoothly. Like I said the lady who I spoke to was so kind and understanding. I finally found a place for my cat. If anyone could possibly help out Roo ASAP please adopt him, you definitely are going to be getting a gentle, loving cat who loves attention and food. I am so happy that I found the SPCA to help me out, other places were definitely wrong for Roo. Thank you so much ! Have a fantastic day !?”
“I was a frequent summer kid here back in elementary and middle school. Really heartbroken to hear this place has closed. I remember it struggling a lot but honestly this place was absolutely amazing and it's heavily shaped who I am today and my interest in science/math/ really anything that I had a summer camp in for all those years.
