“I went to get my flu and pneumonia vaccines for the year and I have to say, making an appointment online was so easy and quick. I arrived on time and presented my ID & Insurance card and was directed to the seated waiting area. They were very busy and I waited probably 20 or so minutes give or take. I wasn't in any hurry so I waited patiently until there was a break in the action behind the counter. Then I was promptly attended to and kindly given my vaccines. I would recommend Walgreens Pharmacy for anyone needing their annual vaccinations”

“I am not like other girls. And by the at I mean I don't totally j'adore Target (read Tarjay). In fact I would go as far as to say I kinda...dislike(?) Target, generally speaking. Something about an all in one stop takes a lot of the fun out of "shopping" for me. This is irrelevant though. Because the point of this review is to say I had a particularly nice experience using Target curbside service. (Placing an order online and opting to pick it up is a great hack for anyone that blacks out in a Target and walks out with more than they need. Just sayin'. ) I placed an order online and it was ready for pickup within half an hour. Which impressed me most. Picking up the order was easy too. You just pull into the determined spots and use the app to let them know you have arrived. They confirmed my order through the car window-I didn't even have to talk to anyone! This has been by far my favorite "curbside pickup" from a big business yet. They really have streamlined the process. My only gripe is that they used an insane number of bags to pack the order. It seemed wasteful. And since doing curbside pickup keeps you from being able to use reusable bags it was pretty unavoidable. Solid though, real solid.”

“This is not your father's pawn shop. The days of the dark and risky business where the dealer tries to offer nothing for your item is over. Most of us can look up the value of something but these guys are the experts in the dark arts of resale. I come from having very little financially but I have been buying gold jewelry since I was 13, with my paper route money. I will buy any expensive needed item from the aftermarket first. We have become a disposable society. Cash America is now a corporation and the management has less wiggle room than before and I see why the changes are making some unhappy. I don't know anyone's name on 34th St S. but the more mature manager in the back and the younger employees in the front have been there for years and will do summersaults to make a respectable deal. The low turnover shows that management is taking care of their people at this store. Even with the strict corporate rules I've seen these guys bend the rules to keep a customer happy. As a retired social worker I appreciate that. These guys work hard for the community. I'm a buyer only, but I know how the tides of the market works. When the value of newer electronics drop like a rock, it can be frustrating. I find it best to buy the expensive things I need slightly used, that includes high end purses for my wife and daughter. They carry a nicer variety of jewels at least 30% less than the big jewelers- that is true for about anything they sell. I love a great deal but I also respect nature. I first try to buy from someone else's carbon footprint-even before it was cool to do it. I have more than I ever thought I would when I was 13, but I can't afford to be wasteful.”
