I can not start to tell you how unhappy we have been with Hertz. Our personal car was stolen from their lot while we were in their office returning the rental we had from them.My husband was driving our car to pick me up from returning the rental that I was driving. He locked the car and had the key. Nonetheless less in about 2 minutes our car was gone. The lot at this location should be pretty safe because it is gated and shared with a hotel the Trade Winds.The response that we had from Hertz was that their camera didn’t show anything and they were sorry this happened. They didn’t provide the police with any camera footage either and they didn’t even comp one day rental. Not a free coupon for a later rental , nothing at all.Our car was found two weeks later and our identity was stolen from something they found in the car and opened various credit cards on our name.So would I recommend Hertz in general or this location in particular, hell NO!Instead use Avis where customers service is 100 per cent.

This is the only location where I like the people that work there. Claudia and Marcus are great! They are very friendly, professional and will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your rental.

I am so pleased with my recent experience at Hertz. I was in and out of the door within 20 minutes. The prices are unmatched compared to other competitors. This location is closed. They'll hook your car pick up and then once you get there you have to call their "help" line..and get it transferred to a new location. Don't go here!!

I'm only leaving one star, because it won't let me leave zero. I made a reservation for a car on St Pete Beach today, and received a confirmation email. When I went to get my car, no one was even there, yet their hours of operation showed them open. A note on the door said to call their other location 10 miles away, if there were any problems. I called the other location, was asked to hold for a "quick second", and after 20 minutes of holding, they hung up on me. I went down the street and received great service from Enterprise Rental, without even having a reservation. This is the 2nd, and last time I will be receiving TERRIBLE SERVICE from Hertz.

This place is absolutely horrible the bigger lady krystal hunt who claims to be an assistant manger and the younger man are both absolutely horrible customer service I had a reservation for over 2 months when I arrived they just told me we don’t have a car and made it seem as if it was my problem they made no efforts to find a car they just sat and looked at me they just said go try somewhere else although I had an appointment at this branch it is a back corner little branch with 2 workers who clearly have no training and could care less about the company to do not waste your time or money at this place they bring down the whole hertz reputation horrible service I will never get a car from hertz again horrible serivce this branch doesn’t even deserve 1 star they could care less about the company and the customers whom ever owns this place needs to really check the quality of his employees it’s very sad to see. I have been going to hertz for over 20 years and never seen a branch this bad.

I had a reservation at this branch, I cancelled it a few days before it was due to be picked up but nevertheless on the day of the reservation I got an email with a rental agreement showing that I had picked up a specific car (Nissan Sentra). And they charged my credit card $369 for a car I never picked up. I logged into my Hertz account and could see that I had no existing reservations. I called the tol free number and was on hold forever. They claimed they would refund my $369 but it would take 5-7 business days. Then they said they would transfer me to the branch but they just disconnected me. Total SCAM.

Having the worst experience with this rental place. My insurance"state farm" cover my rental car with them and when I pick up the car the guy ask me if I want to add insurance that is refundable when I return the rental. I returned it back and they charge me $540 and I went back to ask why. They told me they cant do nothing about it. They help you resume the paperwork for you and make you sign here and there and because is other ppl waiting they make you feel you need to rush it. I read other reviews and other ppl had this bad experience. I ask them is completly refundable and he say YES!!! , LIES!!! please please be careful, they doing that because they get commission selling those packages. I will never recommend this place, they are terrible in customer service, I can tell they hate their job . I wish they can hired nice people and with integrity.

Horrible customer service when I checked in. Rented a mid-sized car, I showed up an hour late (my fault), got a small car at same price. When I checked in there were two male younger associates. One got a personal call when he was checking me in and asked the other one to help me and left. The other guy told me he had no mid-sized cars and the smaller cars weren't quite cleaned yet, and all other cars besides the Ford Fiestas didn't have gas in them. I asked him for more good news. I asked him if he could upgrade me for free - he said "you were an hour late" rudely. Yes, it was my fault.. but where was the customer service? I ended up with a Ford Fiesta (good little car) that they had to clean before I got there. I went to shake his hand to say thanks and he seemed like it was a strange gesture and gave me a "wishy washy fish hand shake". When I checked the car back in 2 days later, the customer service was better, but they didn't know the names of the exact associates that helped me previously. Really? I asked for the names so I could contact the manager on duty. What kind of manager is running this place? This certain establishment has a 1.5 review even before I made mine. Do NOT rent from this place.

Like this place. Best to book online. No matter if you are using them for personal or business they will always hook you up! Book online for a fast and easy service. Under 25 not a problem may have to pay a small fee but typically it is waived or only doesn’t notice if. Verification is quick and easy. They make you want to use them again and I know I will continue to use them. Great place in any sate or location.

When I called ford they let me know that they used hertz and there were cars on the lot. They only had one car, a fiesta, which is too small. I had to have eneterprise pick me up, the I had to go back to ford to get my work stuff out of my car. Took two and a half hours out of my day. I would avoid ford automation and their hertz.
