“Had my back go out today with a sciatica AKA psycho nerve with a little vertigo. I went down down at another establishment, they were not friendly, i their defense, I did however get stuck with hubby in mens bathroom, definitely looked a little crazy because I couldn't leave him with an unlocked door. Made it down the plaza in pain, barely walking. I got here to Cash America perform my task for the day, I sat on the bottom shelf for some sit and stretch, and this lovely young man named Johnny (on the left) was awesome enough to bring me a rolly chair, offered a hand up off the ground, as a true gentleman was taught!! I was able to sit down and sit here while my transaction was performed by Mr Thomas. And I really appreciate that. Only one other establishment stop offered me a wheelchair, Save A Lot. Whoever raised these nice young men, great job! Chivalry is not dead! Good job to the Parents whoraised them, here's my Parent award to you! But don't forget the friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff!! Thank you!!!”

“This is not your father's pawn shop. The days of the dark and risky business where the dealer tries to offer nothing for your item is over. Most of us can look up the value of something but these guys are the experts in the dark arts of resale. I come from having very little financially but I have been buying gold jewelry since I was 13, with my paper route money. I will buy any expensive needed item from the aftermarket first. We have become a disposable society. Cash America is now a corporation and the management has less wiggle room than before and I see why the changes are making some unhappy. I don't know anyone's name on 34th St S. but the more mature manager in the back and the younger employees in the front have been there for years and will do summersaults to make a respectable deal. The low turnover shows that management is taking care of their people at this store. Even with the strict corporate rules I've seen these guys bend the rules to keep a customer happy. As a retired social worker I appreciate that. These guys work hard for the community. I'm a buyer only, but I know how the tides of the market works. When the value of newer electronics drop like a rock, it can be frustrating. I find it best to buy the expensive things I need slightly used, that includes high end purses for my wife and daughter. They carry a nicer variety of jewels at least 30% less than the big jewelers- that is true for about anything they sell. I love a great deal but I also respect nature. I first try to buy from someone else's carbon footprint-even before it was cool to do it. I have more than I ever thought I would when I was 13, but I can't afford to be wasteful.”
