Magpies Modern General Store is a local, small boutique in downtown Sanford. It is an eclectic and quirky modern general store, full of interesting, unique, and beautiful things. The store features a great clothing department with a slightly Bohemian style, a men's section with hardware and shaving accessories, and many off-the-wall items. Shoppers can find fun gifts like socks, cards, coffee mugs, candles, soap, kitchen gadgets, and linen clothes. The owner and staff are always kind, polite, and extremely helpful. It is the epitome of small shopping, ideal for finding a quick, unusual, or quirky gift for somebody.
This is a great store for gifts and holiday shopping. It’s a true small-town gem, and the employees, especially Hanna, are the best! Hanna was so helpful in picking out gifts. They truly care about the community, staff, and their customers.

I love the clothing. It's very boho, hipster. The gifts in the gift shop are adorable. It's definitely pricey but I would come back because of the selection. Wish we had a store like this in Nebraska.
