Causeway Island Park is a great spot to visit. There is good parking, it is very close to the beach, and they have public bathrooms available. The area is clean, peaceful, and not too crowded, which makes it perfect for a relaxing day by the water.

Sanibel Causeway Park is a great laid-back spot with plenty of free parking. Good place to walk around, swim, fish, or just relax and enjoy the views. It’s dog-friendly too. Only downside is there are just porta potties, but the one I used was clean. Overall, nice easy place to spend some time by the water.
