Sanibel Moorings Resort is a beautiful and pet-friendly place that has been making a remarkable recovery from Hurricane Ian. Since opening for business in December 2023, the resort has worked hard to restore its grounds and facilities. The lush grounds and beach are still in the process of being fully repaired, but they remain lovely. The resort features well-maintained, clean condos with spacious rooms and great access to the beach, making it a perfect spot for families or romantic getaways. Many units offer terrific beach views, and the resort provides amenities such as two pools and a tennis court. The front desk staff are friendly and attentive, enhancing the guest experience. Some units are still awaiting renovation, and a few minor issues like firm beds and occasional bugs have been noted, which are understandable given the ongoing recovery efforts. Overall, guests find the resort charming and convenient, enjoying its easy access on and off the island and its peaceful setting. Many visitors are eager to return and recommend it for a relaxing stay that combines natural beauty with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Making a very nice recovery from Hurricane Ian. All of the buildings have rentable condos but some first floor units are still under renovation. The grounds and beach are still not perfect but are still lovely.

This resort is absolutely gorgeous inside and out.Highly recommend you bring your family you're on vacation. Perfect little spot four a romantic weekend getaway.

Room was spacious, well supplied, and clean. Great access to the beach. Beds are a bit stiff (completely personal opinion, but for those who want a soft mattress this is a heads up). The worst thing is that the washers and dryers are definitely getting older and not working as efficiently.
