Nice little shop with not just the usual trinkets. This place has some of the best items we have found for something a little different without breaking the bank. We were in there several weeks ago and found that they are completely rebuilt from Hurricane Ian, but they have kept the old charm they had before. We snowbird on Sanibel so we are familiar with much of the island's mercantile but have come back here many times. EmOcean just two doors down is also reopened so things are coming back at this plaza. Construction continues on other shops at this site, so it's only going to get better. Tuttles is a recommended little shop for sure.

Fun gifts and a thoughtful salesperson who helped me make a bandaid for my stubbed toe.

We've been going to Sanibel for 20 years and it always includes Tuttle's Sea Shell Shop We've developed a kinship with Mr. Tuttle and look forward to seeing him again soon. We even have pictures with him as this is a part of our trip. Mr. Tuttle is nothing but kind and generous. If he told one not to touch something I'm sure it was for more of a safety issue. There are things hanging from the ceiling and propped up on shelves. And as far as the cost, this is a small business and doesn't have mass quantities so the price will be a little more in price. I like to support small businesses and don't mind paying a little extra to keep him in business. Mr. Tuttle we hope you and your business have survived the Hurricane and hope to visit again soon!

Stopped in today just to take a look around. The lady working was pleasant. The store seemed to have a nice combination of real and make-believe shells. Otherwise, the store was in-inspiring. MAYBE…. you should give it a shot? I guess ?

This is always a stop for us when we are on the island. They have great gifts, shirts and island themed games and puzzles. They have some incredible sculptures and art pieces that we don’t see anywhere else on the island.

Not kid friendly. Be advised. Owner IS GRUMPY OLD MAN.After brunch next door we always go and purchase sea shells. Not sure if was shop owner but he very rude to our 7 year old daughter. She picked something up and (I believe it was a stuffed animal) he walked over and removed it from her hands and told her to not mess with anything. This has NEVER happened to anyone in our family ever. 10 out of 10 times if she wants something, on vacation, we purchase it for her. She’s a good listener and well behaved in stores… needless to say she was mortified and it literally ruined her entire day..Maybe he was having a bad day or just doesn’t like kids..who knows, but no way to treat people or children that way. We abruptly left and that is the last time we will go there.

Do not go here with children! We came here with our children. The worker yelled across the store to my husband “don’t let him tear up my stuff” as our son was looking at an item. We were here less than 5 min, no items broken, none at risk of damage. Rude, unfriendly staff. Not a kid-friendly store.
