“We've been here 8 months now with mixed results. The leasing process was a 3 at best - difficult to contact anyone remotely, they had a different leasing period than I had requested on-line, we couldn't check in until very late in the day, and we had to review dozen of pages of the lease agreement on our cellphones - not an easy thing to do! Our apartment was atrociously dirty. The a/c filter was black, there was black mold in the toilet tanks and mold in the showers, my wife had to mop the floors about 6 times just to get them clean, and the oven looked like it had never been cleaned. Numerous light bulbs were also out. After move-in, we would probably give this place a 5. The management has put a lot of money into sprucing the place up - new pool furniture and landscaping, new landscaping throughout the complex, all the building exteriors have been repainted, and the parking lots are newly sealed and re-striped. The gym has great workout equipment of all kinds. They've had some maintenance problems that seem to take a while to fix - the car gates seem to be broken and left open most of the time, the pool has been closed for a month (in the summer!) because of a failed pump, and the a/c in the gym was out for quite a while in the spring. But I've asked the maintenance guys for small favors here and there and they've always helped me out, so they definitely get a 5!With a nice, almost resort-like look and right on 98 with a Walmart next door and 30A and the beaches just a little down 98, it's a great place in a great location. If the leasing process and apartment cleaning are better now, it would definitely raise the grade. One reason we picked this place was a very competitive price, but our rent (had we renewed our lease) has gone up about $300 a month in just 8 months. Not quite the good deal it was in the past, but still worth a look for anyone interested in living in this area.”
