Our dog was seen by the vet in Texas several times for different things which happened to flare up on our trips to Florida to finalize moving details. Both times the vets were knowledgeable, caring and great with our maltipoo. They diagnosed him accurately and treated him. We look forward to them being our permanent vet!

Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar

Monday night was a first disappointment in this place - multiple tables open on the patio but a 30+ minute wait as they stated they only had 2 servers and couldn’t seat anyone. Went upstairs to wait at the bar - the Bartender tells me they have 6 waitstaff on first level - wtf? The tent area has to go - people visit this place for the scenery/views/vibe and being stuck inside a white pop up tent is not it. Waitress smelled like fresh cigarette smoke walking up in your face to take your order. Just a massive disappointment all around with family in town - makes me second guess going here again

Stinky's Bait Shack

Only a quick golf cart ride from my house and every time I show up with my dog Vivian she becomes the best wing woman a man could ask for. Live music, cold drinks, and the kind of easy energy that makes you forget what day it is.
I have even caught some unexpectedly solid Phish covers here which is not something I thought I would ever say in a bait shop. Every once in a while you run into your kid’s old middle school teacher but everyone pretends it is normal and keeps it moving. And yes they really do sell actual bait right next to the beer. Florida at its finest.
The giant pretzels are elite. These pretzels are making me thirsty in all the best ways. Stinkys is exactly the spot northerners picture when they imagine Florida and for once they are not wrong. Always a good time.

We are in the area for vacation with our 2 year old son so I wanted to find a restaurant that takes reservations (not many do in this area). I lucked up and found Grayton Seafood. From the start of making the reservations, the staff member I spoke to was the most friendly person and I knew right off the bat we would have a wonderful dinner. The hostess was unbelievably wonderful, super sweet and great with our son. Not only him but the entire staff at the restaurant were fantastic. They all went out of their way to talk to our son and make him feel so special. He even left the restaurant with a sticker and huge smile on his face. The food was amazing!! I ordered the Creole linguine Alfredo which was seasoned to perfection!! The bread pudding is a must for dessert! So yummy!! This will be a restaurant we add to our list every year we come on vacation! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
