That guy who was working in there around 12 was absolutely phenomenal. You could tell he genuinely cared about every customer that walked in. Even when things got busy, he stayed composed and made time for each person without rushing anyone. He was attentive, professional, and just had a really solid attitude overall. It’s rare to see someone put that much effort into making sure everyone feels taken care of. Honestly, if anyone deserves a raise, it’s him—he’s the kind of employee that makes people want to keep coming back.

Please please someone take some interest in making this a better store. Sad to see a store in this area like this. Cheap gas while it may last. But not for long. Only 1-2 pumps working

This place is getting run down. Two gas pumps inform you that the keypad doesn't work. And the pavement drops off if you're not careful. Can't see this over your hood leaving the pumps.
Please fix these things. Tom Thumb used to be great.

the old blond lady was the rudest person. she didn’t give me the right change back. she gave me $5 less and i told her what the price of the item was bc the tag said so and she argues with me and i had to show her the price and then she was like “here is the $5 your sweating over” SO RUDE

Went in the morning for coffee. They only had one made. Asked the lady if she could make decaf I can't have regular. She got mad. Then she snatched the money out of my hand. She was very rude.

Actually, Tom Thumb is now called Cumberland at this location. I went for gas, and this place most always has had the highest gas prices on the beach ($3.39 a gallon). I put in $ 8.00, and that got me down to Murphy, where gas was $2.97 a gallon, and I had .10 coupons, so I filled up for $2.87 a gallon. I saved a lot compared to Cumberland. Cumberland is a lot cleaner since they took over. The store is fully stocked . Lots of new products and more than one person working alone in the whole store! Restrooms are usually spotless, and so is the parking lot and very well lit up. I'd say I feel pretty comfortable and safe pulling in late at night and getting gas(only if I let myself get close to empty)..lol...Overall, I'll recommend this store for some fast snacks, a cold drink, or a restrooms break.
