Honestly I love this bank it’s truly been great except for one issue and it’s a big oneTo have one atm in Sarasota is mind boggling not only that but have the atm not working is a huge inconvenience and I couldn’t tell you how many times this has been an issue. If you don’t mind not conveniently being able to get cash out or into your account I would probably search elsewhere.

Went yesterday to open a joint account with my daughter. Angel was absolutely wonderful! Gave us exactly what we wanted and was incredibly helpful and personable! Got pre-approved for a credit card with a good interest rate, too. Now my daughter can build her credit and stop using CashApp to pay bills. My first time with a credit union and will eventually migrate my personal and business accounts along with my IRA if they remain as good as they were during our first visit. Love the concept we're now "members" and not just customers at a big national bank.

Every experience I've had with their ATMs has been a disaster, almost every deposit comes up short and I've lost multiple twenties over the past few months til I caught on. When the machine isn't trying to short you, its out of order, like it was tonight in both the drive-thru and the Entrance. Not able to reach the bank during operational hours, they leave me no alternatives but to do cash back with fees in grocery stores, and if I need to make a deposit, I have to leave work (unpaid) during my shift just to make a payment.

Upon a few friends suggestions I went here to open an account Yesterday. The reason was that they have car loans at under 2% on the low end. My friends have taken advantage of this and they're very happy with their service so far. My lease is almost up and this will save me a lot of money verses purchasing the car from the dealer. Angel helped me open my account and he was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this Bank.

I have never received more personal service, but at the utmost professional level, than at Achieva Credit Union. The interesting part of this business, is that the treatment you receive is exactly the same at each branch. The word for their level of service is fantastic!!. I believe this starts at the top of each location from the managers, and onto the employees. The online banking is hands down the easiest format, but extremely secure. I have to say this started with one of the best managers I have ever encountered in my business life. The manager at the Bee Ridge location in Sarasota who goes by Elizabeth or Liz causes you to want to have a reason to go into the credit union, just so you can witness and feel the caring attitude this professional woman displays. I personally don't have millions but she has always treats me as though I do. Liz or Elizabeth I want to thank you for delivering such great service. I also know that you can't provide that without a great staff to support you and the Achieva values. I will always continue to promote your company and it's services wherever I go.

I have been a customer for years. Past managers and employees have been significantly cordial and respectful, especially my Latino/Hispanic friends. Unfortunately, today, I walked into the bank and experienced the most disturbing experience with the branch manager.Today, while I was in the middle of a second transaction with a teller, the Branch Manager, Liz, came out of her office to tell me that ”you are required to wear a mask” when I was wearing a face shield because I am pregnant and I can not breathe with a mask. I have been banking in this bank wearing a face shield for months since it opened its doors to the public due to the pandemic. I have never been told all these past months that my face shield was not accepted. I have never received an email from the bank notifying customers that face shields or other types of face coverings were not allowed. If I knew, I would have been using the drive-through, even for complex transactions.Last week the same manager came out of the woods to tell me to lower my face shield as soon I stepped into the bank - I was just putting on for God's sake. There were no polite greetings, no welcoming, no courtesy from her; she came at me with a domineering and controlling nasty attitude that left a bad taste in my mouth. That day she welcomed the face shield, but not today??Today, when she told me that ”masks are required,” I replied that ”I am wearing a face shield” - I mentioned that my partner and I have been in the bank multiple times with face shields and never had an issue.During our discussion, Liz kept saying that bank policies are ”mask required” -- at one point, she confessed that her concern was my ”particles” being in her space - remember she came out at me, I was not in her area at all!And the irony is that during her argument, one of her bank representatives have her mask down to her neck while helping another customer, until we pointed it out!Where is her concern for her colleague’s particles???I mentioned that many employees and even customers have had their masks down their nose or not wearing them correctly all these months; I never saw her coming out of her office to address those clients - so why picking on me twice in a row?I kept questioning her mask logic because she kept pointing out that customers must wear masks that ”look like” the one on the decal picture. After all, many people have walked into the bank with different types and looks of cloth face coverings that don't look even close to the image she kept basing her argument on. Still, she wasn't giving those customers a hard time all these months!Her argument didn't show congruence with what have been allowed.I invited her to print out signs to let people know that face shields and any other type of face coverings are not allowed into the bank unless they look like the masks that are in their decal displays.Liz even called the police; the deputy was kind and respectful; he was even confused and admitted (outside the bank) that ”masks required” sings welcome face shields across Sarasota. He never have been called for an issue like this before. But the manager, Liz, has said it was their bank policy, and that as a private institution, they can do whatever they want.I respect business policies. Today I felt disrespected and picked on and even discriminated by this manager - I question if she picked on me because I am a Latina who let her know last time that her approach was not acceptable - she even denies what happened last time ”I don't remember, I see thousands of people” - I don't buy it!Remember, my face shield was accepted las week but not this week because my ”breathing particles” concerned her when she was in her office until she came out at me!My petition to the bank is for them to clarify their policies and if they want clients to wear masks that look like the one in the picture - to let us know by displaying what face coverings are accepted and which one are not. Don't treat clients this way; no one deserves to be treated with a nasty domineering attitude.

I have been a client for years at another branch and recently moved to Sarasota for work. I applied for a credit card was approved within a week and was told I would receive it in 5 days. 6 weeks later and in between calls going straight to voice mail or the handler on lunch from 1-3pm, it has been a completely unacceptable process. I am thoroughly disgusted and at this point and am reconsidering this company for my bank. I can only imagine what a horrible experience it would have been to apply for a mortgage through this bank! I would give 0 stars if I could.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Achieva they do my auto financing. They make it stress free. I’ll have a customer at my dealership ask a few questions and fax over a loan app and get immediate results. They have provided 4 customers this month with pre approval bank drafts that take all the stress out of buying. I have been able to put people In their car or truck Literally within hours after they first enter our showroom. They have very competitive rates and are more flexible then the larger corporate banks when it comes to year and miles of vehicle. As a local business owner I am grateful that I have them a phone call away to make my job easier and my customers happy. They make me look good ! Thanks to Janet and her team they are all so helpful and friendly.

As someone that has always done most my business at banks i was shocked at the benefits a credit union offers. I went in last week to talk about transferring over a couple credit card accounts to get my interest rate lower. I received amazing customer service from Janet and Luis from start to finish.

I have had my personal accounts here since I moved to Florida. Other than the obvious (safety of assets) there were other reasons for choosing Achieva. The experts like Janet Hazuda that are there to help really are, well, helpful and extremely knowledgable. The philanthropic side is amazing as well. I love the fact that they sponsor the "Run for Good" event. The proceeds go to teachers in the form of grants to help provide necessities for their students! I'm really proud to be associated with Achieva and trust them with my money.

So foiur years ago when I tried getting a commercial loan from Achieva credit Union they said I didn’t qualify for amount I needed… Then two months later I suddenly qualified. However the purchase price went up $280,000. Thank you to Achieva credit unions big boys club. Now they’re asking me to fill a CTR ... For my cash transaction… G.., Einstein I run restaurant ..I receive cash.. last straw .. will not be baking here anymore.. so if you want to be judged by big boys club… And question for every single damn transaction you do… Then go her! e.By the way .:I’ve had an account here for six years.:. And I’ve been running the restaurant in this town for 14 years..!
