I feel like I just won the lottery after reading many of Affinity's reviews and because of my experiences with them I DIDN'T hire them. Looks like I dodged a major bullet.First contacted Affinity on a Tuesday late September and arranged for a consultation at my place in two weeks time (another Tuesday). 6 days after first contact they called to confirm my appointment for the day after (Tuesday) one week too early. Sorted that out and they realized they were a week early so we "re" confirmed our first meeting for the next week (Tuesday) at 10:30. At 10:28 I was called and was told that they couldn't meet me for whatever reason. I'm remodeling the home and don't live there so each time I have to leave and go to the remodel. Chalked that one up to $hit happens...I'll live.Make another appointment for another two weeks. At the 7 day point I get a frantic call from Affinity saying that they can't make it...an "emergency". I said "ok, but you're not late, you're a week early"...they had the wrong day AGAIN. Strike two.The actual appointment is again confirmed. Cool with that right?...nope, the next week they call after the appointment is to begin rather frantic again telling me that they can't make it AGAIN. I'm stunned at this...can't form words...just blown away at how the easiest part of their job is to meet with clients and formulate a plan and they can't even pull that off. Strike three.Other than my time and a lot of palms to my forehead this endeavor cost me nothing. I'm not a religious man but I fall to my knees daily thankful that I did NOT go with these people.I read the reviews and am just blown away that good people and their hard earned money are treated so negligently.I was a lucky "customer"...their next one maybe not.

I chipped the edge of my kitchen countertop and was heart sick. I contacted Affinity Kitchen and spoke with Tiffany who was so understanding and felt sure she could help. Within the week she had her office call and set up an appointment. The day of my appointment I received a call to confirm the time and gave my the name of the person who would be coming. He arrived on time, was very professional and did a wonderful job. Unless you know where the chip is you would never find it. I would highly recommend Affinity Kitchen to anyone looking to have work done.Service: Granite countertop repair

All of the women we worked with, were responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. They responded to our request for repair when no other Kitchen And Bath company even called us back! We would highly recommend them.

Tiffany was amazing to work with from start to finish. She was always very responsive and super patient with all of our questions (this was our first kitchen remodel). You can truly tell that Tiffany takes pride in her work, she was very involved and would never ask anything of her team that she wasn't willing to do herself! We absolutely love the way our kitchen turned out!Services: Custom kitchen cabinet construction

Gave my mom a reasonable quote for quality work and rushed to get the kitchen counters installed before the son and grandchildren arrived. Easy for me to work with over the phone and really went the extra mile. Lovely experience all around.Service: Countertops

September 2022 by Rob Krasow
In September of 2021 we signed a contract. We were so excited about working with Tiffany and her crew. I met her through a networking group that we are both part of and liked everything she had told me. I truly believed that she would come through for us and create something we would love.I expressed that we needed the work completed or at least functional before December 19th. The reason was because my mother-in-law was coming to visit from Colombia, and I did not want her vacation interrupted with the work in the home. Tiffany promised me this and said that it would take 6 days to install our kitchen and new vanities in the bathrooms. I remember thinking that sounded a bit too optimistic, but we went with it.Things started out great when they were installing the new peninsula and guest vanity in the bathroom. However, the progress all came to a screeching halt after a week of work. We would go days without seeing workers and when they did come, it would be for a couple of hours and not much would get completed. When my mother-in-law arrived, we were without water in both the kitchen and the main bathroom due to horrible coordination and lack of project management. Three different plumbers came to do the work and they either installed stuff backwards or did not want to do the job because they were never told the scope of the work. It was truly a nightmare for over a week. We had to live out of the guest bathroom, cleaning plates and sharing the sink. This was in December. My mother in laws situation was only one of many. Her vacation was ruined. The workers didn’t show at times. Tiffany rarely inspected the work that was expected. There were always excuses and half-truths. How do I know this? Well, her workers were all very unhappy and would tell me what was going on behind the scenes and they all wanted to quit. I do not think there is one left working there who worked on our project.Fast forward to June, the last straw was the back splash. We had expressed that we wanted to keep the one we have. You would think that they would be prepared and measure around it. No, they removed a big portion of it and then when they realized what had happened, they ordered similar tile to try and match it. I had told them to keep the old tile and they said no and threw it away. The new tile did not match, and Tiffany kept saying it would with treatment. She was wrong. To make a long story short, they ended up pulling the fridge out and took remaining tile from behind it. They then removed the new tile and installed the old stuff. It looks like hell! Tiffany then realized that she forgot the under cabinet lighting an installed cheap strip lighting with a disco function and gave me a remote control for it. I looked it up and it cost $30 on Amazon and in various stores. She tried to pass it off as a great product. After it was installed, I about lost my mind.Fast forward to August 2022 and our kitchen is still not done. I told Tiffany that I was going to get another contractor to finish up because clearly, she is unable to manage this project. She promised me that she would send me the final paperwork so that I would have the cabinet maker & paint finisher’s names. I have asked 3 times over the past 2 months, and she comes up with excuses and now she has ghosted me.What is so sad about all this is that the joy is gone. We were so excited to do this project to improve our home and now we have a new kitchen that looks amazing on the surface but if you look closely is damaged in many areas. Wrong doors, doors that were ordered the wrong size but were cut to fit and now the patterns are not the same. Damaged doors from lack of care and screws in rails that hold garbage cans never installed. We paid over $30,000 for a new kitchen and she consistently tried to pass off problems and would not listen to anyone. My case is not unique & this is only part of the story...Services: Countertops

We had our entire kitchen remodeled several years ago and were extremely satisfied with the service, products and workmanship. The service and follow up on details is excellent. Even after several years, we have had minor adjustments made and everyone involved has always been very cooperative and understanding. The workmen are professional and willing to accommodate our every request. They made adjustments perfectly and seem to take pride in their work. I would recommend Affinity without reservation.Lindy DonahueServices: Worktops

Unreliable and simply unprofessional. the president of the company selling us on the quality of her staff. We were impressed and looked forward to the proposal she said would be coming in the next couple days. 5 days went by and we heard nothing so we reached out with a nice note inquiring as to when we could receive the proposal. We were assured by one of her staff we would get it the next day. We received nothing again. Another week went by and we asked again. For a third time we were told the proposal was coming. And for a third time nothing came - not an apology and certainly not a proposal. Had the project been too big or complicated or had they been too busy to handle it, simply sharing this with us would have been professional. That’s not how they acted - they kept promising over and over and kept failing to deliver. If they can’t bother to deliver to get the business, I can only imagine how their responsiveness once they have it. There are many fine resellers of Conestoga cabinetry (which is what Affinity is) in Sarasota and online (eg Cabinet Authority or Cabinet Joint) as well as many custom cabinet companies - all of which can supply the same exact cabinets and, in the case of the aforementioned companies, for less. The only reason to use Affinity is for measurement and installation and for that you really want a company that is dependable. I would avoid Affinity at all costs - the president is a great salesperson but her follow through is abysmal.Services: Custom cabinets

I’ve done business with them in the past and they were good and now they forgot the people that help them get to where they are today. I have requested a quote for a small project and they have not been responsive. I spoke with Laura a few times about the project But never it back to us after numerous emails and phone calls.Service: Countertops

A kitchen and bath job Affinity did in 2013 was okay. They sold us on refacing and now the surface is peeling off. Tiffany says 'that never should have happened'! Really? Can't rate them for a recent job as it never happened. Spent hours with Tiffany selecting finishes, styles and sizes. Was told she would send some 'renderings' after she returned from a trip. Waited weeks for these drawings, never got prices. No follow-up from several phone calls. Called and left messages, nothing! Finally all contact stopped. This was in August. One would think with the virus and everything else going on an establishment would want your business. Glad for those who had a good experience but find it very odd when the owner has to rate herself to defend herself from ratings like mine.

When we decided to do some updating on our 1950s kitchen, we knew that the cabinet company would have to be able (and happy) to deal with surprises. Affinity Kitchen and Bath was highly recommended as a company that did quality work and was creative in working with challenges. Tiffany and her entire team provided the workmanship we needed for new kitchen counter tops and the replacement of cabinet mechanisms. The staff that came into our home practiced personal safety and were mindful as to how they left the work site. Karen was great about getting our appointments set up and answering any questions that we had. There were no surprises when it came to the contract and times for completion. Dealing with Affinity Kitchen and Bath was from start to finish a wonderful experience and we are very much enjoying our updated kitchen. Thanks!!Wendy and Michael
