It wasn't 5 stars, but it was VERY cozy and there were a lot of stores around to shop at. Plus I've got my Fiancée B.K.K.
Rooms: No bugs or roaches, water took bout 15 minutes to get hot. Decent beds, tvs, etc.
Nearby activities: Tons to do around the area
Safety: Busy area. Stay alert.
Walkability: It's within walking distance of just about everything anyone may need during a vacation.
Food & drinks: Lots to choose from around u to eat.
Noteworthy details: 2 beautiful days spent over 2024 Christmas at Baymont, having fun gambling (Naughty list or Nice list)

The only reason I’m giving it two stars instead of one is that the staff was friendly. first, they gave me a room with blue tape over it that it had been power washed, so they had to give me a new one. Room was otherwise clean, but incredibly loud. Everybody’s just living on the balcony out in front of their room, smoking and yelling and blasting music. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, add to that The cable offering is incredibly limited on the TV, and keeps cutting out. The AC waits until it gets into a steam room before it kicks on, no matter how low you set it. Baymont and Wyndham should be ashamed to flag this hotel

I have previously rated this place well but my last two visits it has been dirty, unkempt, smelled of smoke, and with zero daily maintenance (or any in our entire stay). Really disappointing and we won't be staying there again.

Room was "cleaned" but not very well. I've been in other old hotels and can tell the difference. Dark spots on the bathroom floor and the carpet smelled. There was a weird damp and funky smell in the room that made me allergic. I had to go out most of the time to feel better. AC was too loud. TV was from last century I think. Breakfast very poor for this price. Their cranberry juice had started to oxidize and turn into vinegar. For $170 a night this was just not okay. Staff was nice.

Shower had NO hot water. Hot water handle was completely broken. Room had unpleasant odor. No soap in the room.

Rooms: Rooms are decent. They had just reopened after the hurricane.
Walkability: Starbucks is within walking distance from hotel.
Food & drinks: Continental breakfast was great.

Rooms: Clean but musky could not stay the night. They where great and gave me a refund.

Dirty sheets, rooms with a lot of cigarette smell. Broken and unpainted door, nightstands without bulbs, poor lighting, broken chest of drawers. Dirt in general.
Mediocre service, it took a long time to change our sheets. Needless to say, I would not return, not recommended.
Rooms: Very dirty, disgusting sheets. The service takes a long time.
Safety: Broken and barred door

Employees were nice . Breakfast not good , everyday same menu. The lady serving was very nice however food was terrible . Rooms old and not very clean needs an upgrade. Location was good.

Well located hotel, close to the city center and about fifteen minutes from Siesta Key.
On the other hand, poorly maintained hotel, dirty rooms, especially the carpet where we saw cockroaches and nail clippings running behind the doors. Extremely noisy air conditioning, impossible to leave it on at night. Run away!

This hotel needs to be condemned and closed. The elevator is horrifying. The rooms are squalid, repulsive and disgusting. Room 229-the sink was cracked, the carpet so worn you can see through the fibers, under the bed mattress is full of hair, the smell was sickening, the sink faucets don't work and the tub was so disgusting and full of rust. Wall paint chipped everywhere and filthy. Asked to change rooms and it was not much better. The staff was great, not complaining about the staff.
