Hours: Build-A-Bear Workshop is a popular destination for families and children looking to create their own customized stuffed animals. The reviews highlight the exceptional customer service and attention to detail provided by the store's employees. Customers praise the helpful and accommodating staff, such as Nancy, Damita, and Mia, who ensure that each customer, especially the children, have a memorable and special experience. The employees are described as "phenomenal," "amazing," and "incredibly helpful and patient," going above and beyond to make the process enjoyable and tailored to the customer's needs. While some reviewers note that the Sarasota location is a smaller, pop-up style setup rather than a full-fledged store, they still find a great selection of bears and accessories. The store is praised for being "very well-maintained" and providing a fun, interactive experience for children, including the "ceremonial" aspects of the bear-making process. However, one reviewer expresses disappointment with the limited experience at the Sarasota location, noting the absence of some of the traditional Build-A-Bear activities and ceremonies. This reviewer suggests bypassing the pop-up location and visiting a full-size Build-A-Bear store for the complete experience. Overall, the reviews highlight the dedication of the Build-A-Bear staff in creating a special and memorable experience for their customers, particularly the children, despite the limitations of the pop-up location.
