I had to stop and leave our heartfelt gratitude to CAN Community Health for their beautiful collaboration on the HIV FAITH AWARENESS DAY with Connection Church Tampa Bay.Having the lovely AIDS quilts in our service and the generous luncheon you made available has made such a lasting impact on our congregation. We look forward to working together in the future to bring hope, wholeness, happiness and peace to our community. On behalf of Bishop Erik & Pastor Kelsey Swope-Wise and our CCTB family, thank you!!!

I volunteered Tuesday afternoon. When I tell you this company goes above and beyond for there Community and workers. After the hurricane hit they had to do something to help the community. They did just that… they did CAN care days. For the last 3 weeks they have hit 3 different Location and With help from other partnership and coworkers throughout the community they were able to make this happen. My heart opened up so much when I walked in and saw everything people donated to help. If they had a location there or not they were going to show up where it was needed the most and that is what a great agency is all about! Great job CAN staff!

Have been a patient for many years .The case management and dental services are unparalleled in our community . I saw a medical provider a few weeks ago . Chronic pain is a reality for many of us long-term survivors and when I brought it up during my appointment was told WE NEVER TREAT PAIN /PRESCRIBED THOSE TYPES OF MEDICINES DUE TO REGULATIONS OF SCHEDULE 2 PAIN MEDICINES.(NOT EVEN TO GIVE THE SUFFERING PATIENT A BRIDGE OF MEDS UNTIL A PAIN MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENT CAN BE ATTENDED)REALLY ODD , THIS IS A MISTAKE THAT WE HOPE THE MANAGEMENT WILL TAKE ANOTHER LOOK AT.PAIN FOR LONGTERM SURVIVORS IS REAL . CLINICS LIKE CAN CAN SHOULD NOT STICK THEIR HEADS IN THE SAND LIKE AN OSTRICH AND PRETEND OR that palliative pain care for patients is optional . If they are worried about abuse. ,they can check the online which prescriptions have already been filled prior to that day. I trusted them when they said they would refer me to a pain specialist and someone would call me to schedule this. Waited weeks in pain to no avail. The stress on my body from physical pain has been hell!Luckily , i have insurance and found myself an appointment somewhere else. With the fentanyl overdose crisis happening not one patient should be left to try and find relief alternatively . It could be , has been fatal.
