Based on the reviews, Cornell Behavioral Health Pavilion at Sarasota Memorial is a state-of-the-art facility providing a comprehensive range of mental health services. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and filled with natural light, with 82 private inpatient suites, sensory rooms, and inviting common areas. Patients are provided with private rooms that each come with ambiance lighting, a desk, cubbies, your own bathroom with rainfall shower heads, and a large screen TV. They even do your laundry everyday. There is normal, everyday donated clothing given to each patient within hours of arrival. The staff is absolutely incredible, from the nurses to the techs to help you improve your life. The peer support specialists are instrumental in helping patients stay grounded and positive. The techs are exceptional and respect patients' need for space while providing attentive, compassionate care. Social workers are incredibly kind and take the time to hear patients out. The doctors, therapists, and front desk are all incredibly supportive, communicative, and honest. The daily schedule is supportive, the groups are consistent and insightful, and the food is better than expected with a good variety of options. The staff clearly recognize the reality of involuntary admissions and do their best to support patients toward stabilization and recovery. This is a very clean, productive, caring, and professional facility that does its utmost to keep days filled with ways to improve mental and physical health.

I had a short stay but very beneficial Jemma was so sweet and caring I couldn’t thank her enough and all my nurses were outstanding I am very happy I went to this hospital I’m feeling a lot better

The mattresses were awful, and originally everyone is sent to South side…were if you weren’t held against you’re will you’d lock the doors. I was transferred to North side after a while, but only there for bakers act. However, after being discharged it did NOTHING for me…except make me more in debt

This place was very nice. I was in 2 North, the children's unit, and although there were rough times, overall, this place was very nice. I am satisfied with the treatment there.
