Bought a $140 6 piece knife set. Got it home and they were obviously used and knife block had all sorts of scratches on it. Apparently that was the last one in stock but I could order a new set which woukd take about 3 weeks. Nobody cares about customer service or having a job. Close the store and I'll just order online from now on. Enjoy your warehouse job.

I visited this location yesterday in search of glassware and spent about 30 minutes browsing the entire store. In that time, not a single employee greeted me, asked if I needed help, or even acknowledged my presence. Instead, I received uncomfortable stares from employees, which only made the experience worse.
There were at least four employees standing near the glassware, engaged in personal conversation with each other. I even had to walk around them to look at items on the shelf, yet none of them paused to acknowledge me. I eventually left, only to return an hour later, and encountered the exact same situation—the same group of employees chatting amongst themselves, with no greeting or offer of assistance.
Even though there were items I planned to purchase, I chose to walk out again and instead went to Williams Sonoma, where I was warmly greeted, assisted by multiple employees, and able to make my purchase with ease. The difference in customer service between the two stores was night and day.
I left feeling like perhaps I was judged or dismissed based on appearance, which should never be the case in retail. To be clear, this wasn’t about me—it was about the lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic courtesy from the staff.
The bottom line: this store has employees with no customer service skills, no work ethic, and no interest in the customers keeping the business alive. I hope this review reaches someone in management who values customer experience and takes action to hire and train staff who understand the importance of professionalism and people skills.

Lynn was amazing to work with. My fiancé and I had received some plates and bowls off of our registry and about half of them had pits and chips. We felt anxious and silly bringing in so many to exchange but Lynn never made us feel uncomfortable. She took her time to make sure we left with quality products and went above and beyond. She recycled the flimsy box we came in with and wrapped our new plates up nicely while we shopped.
Before we came in, we were skeptical about continuing to shop with Crate and Barrel. But given how great the staff is and how helpful they are in resolving problems, we will definitely be returning customers.

I met today two wonderful girls in this store Martha and Claudia, they helped me decorate my plant but they did it with a lot of dedication and I want to give them a huge thank you for all your help and kindness, everyone took pictures of how beautiful the plant had been left

Outstanding Customer Service from Lindsay Goodman!
I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Lindsay at the Sarasota location, and I must say her professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out. I had an issue with receiving the wrong glider chair that the customer service center made difficult to resolve, but Lindsay handled it with efficiency, care, and a positive attitude.
She listened patiently to my concerns, quickly identified a solution, and ensured that I left the store feeling valued as a customer. It’s clear that Lindsay prioritizes both the customer experience and upholding the store’s reputation for quality service.

As a frequent and loyal buyer at Crate & Barrel and CB2, I’ve always appreciated the quality and experience. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed. I drove an hour to the store to pick up an online order and exchange an item that, unfortunately, was chipped when I brought it home. Due to my distance from the store and a busy schedule, I couldn’t return it sooner. When I finally arrived, the shift manager, Joe, not only refused to assist with what should have been a simple swap but was dismissive and unhelpful. This forced me to waste time and gas, having to make a second trip due to his unwillingness to help.
Thankfully, on my return visit, manager Lindsey and the entire team completely turned things around. They went above and beyond, showing empathy, flexibility, and a genuine willingness to make things right. Their efforts to provide solutions and make me feel valued completely changed my perspective. Lindsey and her team not only restored my faith in the store but saved me as a loyal customer. A little empathy and understanding truly go a long way, and it’s people like them who keep customers coming back.

Great experience at Crate and Barrel in Sarasota today. I asked 2 salespeople for help with a problem related to a bed I bought in NJ. After informing me I needed to contact original store personnel, Anthony and Rebecca proceeded to find my order, call NJ store for manager contact information, and figure out the problem with my order. They were so friendly and helpfull. All this for a problem that did not originate with their store!
I love all the products I have purchased at C&B over the years and I love their sales people just as much!

Boket is an amazing designer! Her customer service is also above and beyond.
The sofa that I liked was on sale; however, it wasn’t the color nor the size that I wanted originally . I shared with her what I envision my living room to be and then she did her magic. Boket’s knowledge and creativity is 💯. I also appreciated her patience with addressing all my concerns, especially that it was my first time buying a sofa for my first home.
If you need someone who is creative, genuine, and would turn your vision into reality, Boket is definitely your person.
I actually just got the sofa delivered and it looks amazing in my living room!!

We have our wedding registry at Crate & Barrel, and went to the registry event at this store. Brianna was more than helpful, she guided us through all the sections and gave us great tips on how to combine things and what to put on the registry. ✨✨

from the moment me, my girlfriend and our friends walked in, we were being stared at and followed everywhere we had went by an elderly lady employee. it made us uncomfortable so we went upstairs and my friends phone had fell out of his pocket on the escalator causing a racket because he had no phone case. the male employee then said the playground is on the other side of the mall as if we were playing on the escalator. yes we are 17-18 years old but mature enough to not do that especially inside a high dollar furniture and appliance store. we had split up and my girlfriend and i went to look at coffee makers, the male employee still followed us and then told me and my girlfriend if we werent buying anything to leave the store.

The employees were very rude and felt pretty uncomfortable. First off the first employee kept staring at us and following us everywhere we went, while trying out the couches and beds(we weren’t laying in them). Felt pretty weirded out so we went up stairs to feel the vibe and unfortunately one of our’s friends phones dropped out of his pocket while walking up the escalator. The male employee then talked in the intercom in the store that the playground was on the other side of the mall and to not be jumping on the escalators when we where not doing that we where just walking up them. We then started looking at things and my boyfriend was not use to the coffee pot he was looking at and the top fell off on accident we nicely picked it up then the male employee walked to us and told us if we are not buying anything to leave the store because there were already three things that fell over because of us. There was absolutely nothing that fell over besides the accident which we are not perfect and just because you see young people in a expensive furniture and appliance store doesn’t mean we don’t have money or can’t pay for it. So we left because we felt mistreated in the store and was treated wrongly.
