The employees here were eager to assist me and help me locate my items and check out. The pharmacy tech was gentle while giving me my Covid shot and put my anxieties at ease

Want to share an incredible experience with Brandon, 7190 University pkwy, sarasota, fl. He took the time to explain to me how to download the CVS app and how to apply my coupons to the app. He took a lot of time to help this 77 year old non techno gramma how to see where my coupons are. I thanked him repeatedly because he was so helpful. Cashier # 1299601. Thx Brandon.

This pharmacy is having some problems. I had a prescription sent there yesterday. They had it in their screen. Came back an hour later (as they suggested) they had no record of it. So could not fill it. Got physician’s office to resend it today- no acknowledgement from CVS - physician’s office calling me to suggest I try another pharmacy. So pretty big pharmacy fail. It’s 3 pm Friday and I am trying to get physicians office to send it to Walgreens!

We have been getting our Moderna Covid vaccines from this pharmacy since the beginning of the pandermic. Brian, the pharmacist has been absolutely wonderful in all aspects of his service to us.
Brian is friendly, professional, and accommodating. We went there to get the latest Moderna vaccine, only to learn they no longer administer Moderna, just Phizer. This is a blatant disservice to the community. Since Moderna is easier to store, their should be no reason to not continue administering it.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The store is spotless and well stocked. The pharmacist, Brian, is wonderful and quickly learns your name, giving the feel of a hometown pharmacy within a national chain.

The CVS Pharmacy on University Parkway in Sarasota, FL completely wasted my time today.
Get this... the pharmacy closes down at 1:30pm for a lunch break and re-opens at 2pm. What on gods earth is that? Who does that? I arrived at 1:35pm and had to wait 25 minutes in my car causing me to be late for other appointments. No where on CVS website, or Google buiness listing, or CVS pharmacy voice mails do they say they are closed for lunch. I can't imaging how many customers fall victim to this lunch break thing because they have no idea it occurs. I am not against eating lunch, its the best part of the day, but geez, why cant you rotate people for breaks like everyone else. Or at the very least, advertise your lunch break hours on your website or google buiness. Yes, this CVS has a sign on their window indicating they are on lunch break but by the time someone drives to CVS and sees the sign, its already too late.
Also, maybe I was a bit sensative because I was already annoyed, but finally at 2:05, someone came to the window and helped me. She looked at me, I was waiting for her to say something, but she said nothing. So after about 20 seconds pass of us staring at each other she says "Name and date of birth" in a tone that was less than welcoming. I am thinking to myself... how about a "Welcome to CVS Pharmacy, how can I help you" with a smile, but no, got none of that.
I vaguely remember a visit from this pharmacy in the past and received the same type of behavior. Some of those pharmacy folks over at this store severely lack customer service skills. Their behavior is almost like they are on some high pedestal and have this sense of entitlement and the customers are just cattle to them.
Oh and to top it all off, they only had 1 of my subscriptions ready even though both were called in days in advance. She said she had no idea why it wasn't processed. So my options were to come back in 15 minutes or come back another time. Like I said I already had other appointments so I had to leave. So it looks like I gotta deal with this thing again tomorrow.

Pharmacy hours online are inaccurate. Incredibly inconvenient to drive and see that they were closed.

The store was clean and nice. The register person was extremely nice and helpful. I wish everyone was like him in all stores. Because of him, I will visit this location again even though there are more convenient locations near me.

CVS moved my child’s prescriptions from 2 other pharmacies with no issues. They had them filled right away. The rep found the health insurance and told me that one wasn’t covered and she knew the price. It was super easy and such a pleasure to deal with them.

CVS (this store in particular) is always clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly, however, the pharmacy manager can be quite rude from time to time. He has power of whether or not he fills your prescriptions, so being in a customer service related field myself, I would never speak to a customer the way he spoke to me last month. I made a phone call to check some information that is not on the app, and he yelled at me like I was a child. When I arrived at the store, I went in and to my surprise when I asked for the pharmacy manager it was the rude man on the phone. So no recourse there. That has been my only bad experience with this pharmacy.
