This dollar tree is so disgusting. And the girl that’s currently working at the register right now on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 12:39 PM. You can hear her complaining to another girl about somebody working night shifts and you can hear this all the way into the back of the store. There’s no reason why she number one has to be so very loud number two discuss another employee schedule number three. This is the second time I’ve been in here when this employee has been extremely loud and rude.

This store looks like the hurricane went through it! Shelves are empty. Stock looks like it just pitched on the shelves. Employees wear ear phones , including the cashier. The only employee I saw was wondering around looking very bored . She made no attempt to pick up, straighten up. She hung out near the cashier on her phone wearing her ear phones as well. I can’t imagine a manager would allow such behavior. I was sad when I left… I won’t go back. I will try another dollar tree location.

This dollar tree is a good size store so I like to shop here. I know help is hard to find but seriously this girl is a waste of payroll. I was up by registers for over half an hour as I was trying to get Halloween decor and it took awhile. She was on the phone(earbuds) the entire time complaining. Complaining about coworkers who don’t do anything, corporate bringing in someone as a manager (from a dollar general no less so obviously they won’t make it here where the work is harder…) I heard how she works her ass off every shift/all shift. I don’t shop here to listen to you complain. You obviously weren’t working at all while I was there. Didn’t even stop talking as she checked me out!!!

As I was shopping at this dollar tree, which is a mess. I overheard the manager arguing with a customer. I did not hear the customer raise her voice whatsoever. What I did see was the manager just walk away from the customer saying I did you a favor, I’m not gonna let you yell at me. I did not hear the customer raise her voice once. Since when is doing your job that you are getting paid for and helping a customer doing them a favor. I don’t care what the circumstances are that is not acceptable behavior from a manager .

Don't want to give a star- Don't go in this store much anymore because if you're a customer you're trash- and management doesn't care

It was very disappointing at this store this morning. I was third in line with three people behind me with one cashier (David) working at the register. The manager (no name tag) and store associate (Evelyn, eating cheese puffs) were talking to each other at the next register. There was a young associate stocking merchandise up front. When it was my turn in line, I asked David to take one of the gift cards off of my receipt because I did not notice that it was four gift cards in one. When the manager heard the interaction, she asked, "Do you need help with something?" I replied, " I do not, David is taking care of it but you might want to help the other customers (now 7 deep) by opening another register. She quickly told me that she just asked the younger girl to open and then told me that Evelyn was on her break. I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes. I told her that it looked very unprofessional for them to be chatting around customers waiting in line. Evelyn then took it upon herself to tell me that what was unprofessional was me not understanding what was going on, the manager was waiting for a very important phone call and she herself was on break and then asked me if eating in front of the customers was bothering me, letting me know that she has dealt with thousands of customers in different types of service and I was one of the rudest she has ever met. Understanding that there was no room for a decent conversation, I told her that she had made herself very clear and I completely understood where she was coming from. She kept yelling and I turned to ignore her, hoping that she would understand the hint of the conversation not having professional merit. The manager stood there allowing her to speak to me that way. Eventually, another customer had a question and they walked away together. David continued to scan each item and was very professional and kind throughout the transaction.
I too, like Evelyn have been in customer service for many years and interact with many people daily. Maybe I shouldn't have suggested that another register be open but it was very frustrating with the perception of three employees not helping the customers in line.
Please understand, my life is based on extending grace but it is also grounded in mentoring and training others to become better every day. This issue should be brought to the employees attention with professional development, training and documentation of the incident. The behavior of the manager and Evelyn, the associate was unacceptable.
I also understand that my little $73 order is miniscule compared to the profits of the organization, however, I do represent a customer base of patrons that support the salaries of all Dollar Tree employees.
I wish the best for all of the employees and hope that with training and mentoring, the future customers of this store will have a better experience.

Really but really dirty, I came here before and it was nice and clean, don’t know how every aisle has trash.
