I have tried to reach them by phone but the wait is nearly 2 hours, I tried to log on but the website doesn't recognize my account number so then I tried to use the chat button and the automated system referred me back to the phone option. It's a vicious cycle! You can never reach a human! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Their platform is having MASSIVE problems for several months now. At market open order execution lags, order confirmations lag, orders get kicked out, limit orders can't be moved in chart, then they get filled delayed when you don't expect it anymore or when you long removed them. Many other bugs keep popping up as well. TOS customer support needs hours for replies, often leaves the chat without help, gives run-arounds when trade busts are requested due to THEIR technical problems. It's a total disaster for any active / momentum day trader! Stay far away!

So disappointed in TDAMERITRADE. Really bad customer service!! Beware of these guys. No support, no follow up service. They took back $2k after giving it to me for a trade error. Really TDAMERITRADE? You need that money back? Damn, I suspect financial issues here

I have invested with TD Amertrade for years using their swim platform. The platform is excellent. However due to some health issues I wanted to begin to seek more guidance. I was called by some representative. I indicated I wanted to work with an consultant. The agent was ready to to being. I requested I preferred to work with a female. As a professional female it was my preference. He indicated they did indeed have a female consultant. To this date no one has even contacted me.

I cannot access my account online since Ameritrade took it over from Scott Trade. Just waited on hold for half and hour before giving up. I never had a pin yet one is demanded before I can get through -- prior password from ST doesn't work. Vicious cycle and I can't transfer stock and close account.

TD Ameritrade is very competitive with brokerage rates and charges compared with the level of personalized service received. We are very pleased with this branch and have recommended it to our friends and family.

Employees at this bank need to have extensive training on customer service, rules, regulations, and protocols. They have been no help with setting up an IRA. They do not do things, or call people back when they say they will. TD Ameritrade has caused major delays with opening and processing our accounts.
