I love at florida central credit union, the staff are very, professional, courtesy. I applied for a loan, I spoke to the manger Natalie there and she did her best to get me the best rates. I'm a satisfied customer I already recommend her to three people

The worst experience ever a lady that I did some work for wrote me a check I have cash the check there before always a hassle in this branch. They made a copy of my drivers license and my credit card now I know it’s customary to do the drivers license but not my credit card number I am livid. I asked her to give me my stuff back manager thought it was OK. Been to the Bradenton branch never have a problem never will return. Very upsetting.

I went To see Natalie to get approved for a car loan when many places would not help me, she was very kind and helped me through the whole process and made it as easy as possible and I got approved when many other banks could wouldn’t approve me! I definitely recommend going to floridacentral if you are trying to get approved for any kind of loan or just for an amazing bank!

Total Incompitence. After Pat (old branch manager left), its been problem after problem. They hire inexperienced, low-intelligence people that make mistakes and you as the customer will be liable for their mistakes. We moved banks, and closed our account per their requirements only to find out that they put us in collections for unpaid fees documented AFTER we closed our account. Do yourself a favor and RUN SCREAMING.

Natalie, Ava, Dren, and Ann Marie are amazing with any questions, and customer service. Been using FCCU for a while and the new team of girls that came in after Pat are great. Really changed the whole banking experience from dreadful to delightful!

Absolute joke! Never in this day and age have I had to fill out an envelope for an ATM deposit!!!!!!!! What are we back to the 90s. Couldn't deposit at the drive through either...... without filling out an envelope! Why have an ATM or drive through? You idiots took ALL the convenience out of those things!!!!!! Wouldn't recommend to anyone just based on this!

After increasingly more issues with this bank have become more common for me I have resorted to finally leaving a review here..So, for starts let's get the pros out of the way since there are some... it's a smaller bank feel, where you will be remembered, and treated more like a person then a bank member. This has its flaws as I want professionalism presented over the phone, which the last several times have not been, I'm not trying to provide information like mothers maiden name, social security, etc over a damn phone call... Ron also does a decent job keeping the place together.The dividends offered are okay, but I can get that through almost any brokerage. Let's get to the cons and my biggest issue(which may be a good thing for others)Online banking, their security is so damn overkill if you typo your password once, you're locked out and forced to contact them directly and provide all sorts of information(that again should not be done over the phone, it's 2020. Things stick. Learn a bit more about cyber security, please.)Sorry, but I'm not trying to call and take 10-15 minutes out of my day every time this occurs. It does not reset after a time, and is heavily annoying. Almost enough to make me drop the bank all together, I simply do not have this issue with my other debit cards.Also; if you wish to have the bank take from savings if you do not have sufficient funds in checking automatically you will have to contact them and enable this function. Sort of silly.Lastly, I don't like being put on hold and consistently taken off hold to tell me the representative required to speak to will be with me shortly. Get an automated system, it's a bit annoying. So are automated systems but not as much. I'm just trying to navigate the system as simple as possible with as little interaction and effort as possible.I'm sure there are other pros as well as cons I could provide, just not at this time. As this review is getting lengthy. Maybe if things improve in the future, I will come back to this review and update it but for the time being this is my opinion. Other opinions are their own and respected, this is only my experience.

In an impersonal world these folks are a definite and distinct exception. They operate to reflect the premise that credit unions are there to serve their members as opposed to banks who can make you feel they own your money and may or may not allow you to do what you want with it. Of course to maintain the strength and stability of the credit union itself they have to make decisions for the financial institution they represent but still they never forget why they exist which is to serve their valued members. Like most financial places of business these days they are modifying how they do business due to covid 19. They are well connected to our community and will likely welcome you.
