We went during peak season in October around the 4th week and it was busy. Not everything was local but they did have a ton of variety. A lot of vendors park on their property and sell their goods. We met a ton of great vendors! It's a big place. They have a butterfly area as well. There are lots of animals including lambs! You can hold them and feed most of the animals. There is a store stocked with local options as well. It was a neat experience for sure! We would go back and I would recommend this as a family outing or field trip:)

I like to support local however after paying too much for the pumpkin and the quality of an item I won't return. I bought a sleeve of celery ( $1.79 normal price) which completely wilted in my fridge in 3 days, I've never had that happen. I tried to save it by cutting the end off and standing it in fresh water but it didn't work , still floppy. I bought a 1/2 gallon apple cider ($7.99 which is normal) and a regular size pumpkin which was weighed for the price. The bill was $24 which means the pumpkin was more than $14! I'll buy from Winn-Dixie next year.

I recently attended the Fruitville Groves Pumpkin Festival, and it was an absolute blast for the entire family! The festival offered a fantastic array of games, activities, and delicious food options. My kids had a fantastic time playing games, riding on hayrides, and indulging in scrumptious treats. The highlight for them was the outstanding petting zoo, where they could interact with adorable animals. The festival had a great atmosphere, and it was clear that a lot of thought and effort went into making it an enjoyable experience for all. We can't wait to attend again next year!

It's turned into more of a market than it used to be but it's still a really pleasant way to spend an hour or so. So many cute children in costumes sitting on pumpkins! That alone is worth the 5 parking charge!

I was unprepared for my experience. It was very crowded. Parking was in large dusty fields. Admission was supposed to be free, but the sign said admission 5. For family. Website says parking donation 5. There was a police officer there and I saw everyone pay. Just about every thing was an extra fee. The food trucks were charging double, I’m sorry 15. Cheeseburgers, my guess for a family of 4 would be spending over 100. No way I’ll be back.

We had a great day out at the farm! It was all decorated for fall. They had all kinds of different vendors, as well as many things for the kids to do. Their circus show was very entertaining.

Still perturbed at them for pulling the lease on Detwilers and trying to emulate them. Brought my 19 month old grandson there for the Halloween festival. It was OK. Didn't buy anything from booths because I wasn't there for a craft fair and didn't visit their farm store. Kid had fun on pony and train ride. Circus (small) was OK and performers were lovely people. Still choose Detwilers for farm stores.

Have been going here for years. It’s a quaint place with that old Florida feel which is hard to find in Sarasota anymore! With Nokomis grove gone, it’s a rare find anymore! I hope they stay around for a long time to come!

We went to the fall festival. We will be back again next week to do the bounce houses and zipline. The music was great, the $20 keg of lemonade lasted us both, and everyone wins the costume contest and we love the pumpkin they gave us and and the decorating kit to go with it. Thank you for the free circus, it was so special we went back on Sunday lol.

A wonderful farm market with special events for families. Once we saw the chickens, we were enthralled.

Went to Fruitville grove farm market only to find it closed. Website said it was open. Very disappointed and won't be back.
