I have stayed with this hotel twice. It is a hit and a miss. The first time I stayed it was on par with the price. Not the most luxurious but It appeared clean, no odors, comfortable bed, nice appliances. My only complaint with the room was the shower curtain is cloth and water leaks all over the floor. The area does have some questionable people out at night. However this seems unavoidable for the part of Tamiami despite being in the Ringling District. However, for my second visit, the experience was enough to not come near this place again. The first five nights were okay but the room had smudges on the light switch and door to the bathroom. Stains on the counter, the room had a faint smell of mildew/mold. Same shower issue and same locational issues. The breaking point was on my last night staying with them there was a roach that crawled out of the coffee maker. Now I am hyper concerned about accidentally bringing something home and not realizing it. Washed everything immediately once I arrived home, so hopefully not.

My wife and I just got married and chose to spend our honeymoon here! Absolutely gorgeous resort!!! They even offered us a small bottle of Prosecco to celebrate!!

Top notch clean pleasant especially for a lower cost room/hotel.
Food and drinks: The attached restaurant, the drinks were good and cold the food was rough even if it's bar food out of an air fryer and only 4 items on the menu...don't eat here unless your drunk...then maybe it will be just OK ???
Noteworthy details: Yucky food !! But good drinks

Walked into the room #122. Dirty, smelly, Bed stained, bathroom disgusting. Toilet set not mounted. Tile in shower had human hair, the shower floor tile looked disgusting. Tried changing room but was told none was available. The room looked nothing like the pictures on website. They gave me a set of new linen to change myself. My wife refused to touch the bed, which had stains and hair.
My booking company reached out to the hotel management to try to get my $165. refunded, but they refused to refund. Even though I never stayed in the room.

This is a very nice hotel with great amenities that i was unable to enjoy due to back to back hurricanes. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy and the service was nice. Lady K, it’s either Kathy or Kathleen was professional, direct and honest. My daughter and I moved here in the middle of two hurricanes and were happy to have safe clean accommodations without evacuations to weather the storms. I will be returning to the bar once I get settled and will have my family and friends stay here as guests as we become new residents of Florida. There are retro microwaves and refrigerators and contemporary styling and small details that made it a great stay.

This is a wonderful independent hotel. It's a great value. The room was clean, the service was wonderful, the pool a pleasure, and tiki bar fantastic!

We were denied a refund during the Hurricane last week. We tried to check in and no power. Watch others get refund. Now management will not return my calls to discuss this issue. Not very business like to not communicate. Should be a Zero stars.
Rooms: Never set foot into it, power out due to Hurricane.

This place was very nice. Get a free drink which was delicious and very well made. The room was gigantic. The bed was very thick and comfortable. The pool was heated my wife loved it. Overall a very great place.
Rooms: Room was huge!
Nearby activities: Comedy club downtown was so much fun!
Food and drinks: Delicious well made drinks at the bar.

Okay, hotel...I can tell they tried to do an update, but parts are still a bit outdated. Can't complain for the price.
