I visited good as new consignment today to find my wedding dress. Little did I know, it was going to be an amazing experience and I would walk out the door with my perfect dress.
Kim kindly greeted my mother and I as we were entering the store this morning. She was super helpful right off the bat, explaining sizing and helpful tips. I immediately found dresses I loved and she was so quick to grab them from us to set up in the dressing room so we weren’t holding them. When it was finally time to try on, she helped fluff the train on every dress so I could get the full effect. She added belts, veils, etc. whatever I might’ve needed to really see if I truly loved the dress. She was extremely helpful in every way. I cannot thank her enough for making this experience so special even being at a consignment shop. Which has SUPERIOR choices I must add. I literally cannot believe how easy finding my perfect dress was and there were so many sizes to choose from. My perfect dress fit me like a glove, like it was meant to be mine! You will probably get better customer service here rather than a bridal shop anyways. And for a fraction of the price! Now I can spend the big bucks on a honeymoon!! She provided heels to try on with the dress as well. Literally everything you would need to get the full bridal effect, Kim already thought of. At the end, when purchasing my dress and veil, she put everything in a nice zip up bag to keep my dress and veil protected AND even provided me with a woman who does alterations as the only part of my dress that needs any alterations is the breast area and I will be adding a bustle! I will be recommending this store to many of my friends. I most definitely recommend shopping for your wedding dress here, P.S. a lot of the wedding dresses are BRAND NEW WITH TAGS! FOR THE SAME GREAT PRICE! I am so relieved to have found not only this store, but for Kim’s wonderful help. Kindness goes A LONG WAY. So thank you, Kim!

This is not your everyday consignment shop! The owner is from NYC & has fantastic taste in clothing & jewelry Exceptionally beautiful household items, kitchen items, bicycles for adults and kids & various bric-a-bracelet. Prices are great! Plenty of parking! In the Amish neighborhood so watch out for bicycles! I have found many beautiful pairs of shoes in this wonder shop! Have fun!!!!!

I had the worst experience with Good as New Consignment. I will NEVER have dealings with them again. I was disappointed with Kim (owner) and Kaylee on how I was treated in the store. I called to reconsign my unworn wedding dress. It was noted in my records, but it was not noted in their records, and now its GONE. I have shopped and consigned within the store several times and for several years, and my experience has been the same, FAIR to POOR. I will NEVER bring my business to this store again. My experience was very unprofessional and heartbreaking. Please keep in mind they have moved locations, and I speculate that in the process, it was not noted in their records, and unfortunately its nothings I can do about it. Consigners, please BEWARE.

The ladies here were fun to chat with and have a really clean and nice consignment store. I bought a beautiful blouse and a cat carrier, both items in excellent condition. They have alot of wedding gowns for young ladies to pick from too.

I called hours before I arrived asking if they had a specific style of wedding dresses. They looked, said they had a few and asked if I’d be coming in today. I told them that I’d be there in a few hours.. …much to my shock when I got there I found out there is a $35 fee to try on dresses. I felt somewhat blindsided by this because I called in advance to showing up, so they really could’ve given me the courtesy of telling me this over the phone. The one dress I wanted to try on I recognized immediately as I had been eyeing it on David’s Bridal for months now….its $950 brand new at David’s Bridal, but they are selling it for $1,000 used. Needless to say I left and didn't try on any dresses. Before leaving I did pull up the dress on David’s bridal website to show them that they are selling it for more than it is new. I don’t think they cared much. I will say that the one girl working there was nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this waste of time store to anyone.

They are extremely picky about what they accept. I added a brand new item a nice, modern woven throw, never used. They refused everything. I let them donate everything but they don't let you know where they donate to!

I would rate this closer to a 3.5 out of 4…it kind of smelled strange in there which makes me want to leave immediately. With that being said, there are lots and lots of wedding dresses if you are looking for a deal! There was a decent selection of lululemon. Not many great options for designer bags. Overall fair prices and options for men!

I LOVE this wonderful little shop! GOOD AS NEW CONSIGNMENTS has a wide variety of clothing from everyday wear, bridal and wedding needs to mens wear and everything for baby! Also a great variety of household items, furniture and wall art. Great sales too. I always find some treasure! Definitely worth checking out this friendly little gold mine. - JW

The best consignment shop in Sarasota! Excellent selection of clothing and accessories for men, women and children. Love the assortment of home Decour and small appliances available. They even have some furniture. Something for everyone!
