started rough, first question was did i have an appointment? my answer was are walkins accepted? lobby was empty.
no wait time for a walk in. Casey was quiet. no normal conversation. plain haircut shorter and not as i described for cut length. perhaps salon should add whiteboards at each station to remind stylist of customers requests

The on-line check system works very well. I can spend time at home doing something useful instead of waiting in the salon for an opening. When my timeslot approaches, I get a text to start gong to the salon. All the stylists are good, but some are exceptional.

I know it’s a great clips so haircuts are a gamble. Not all hair stylists are the same. Specifically, Hugh cannot do men’s fades, so maybe the rest of his cuts are fine, or the other stylists are fine. But I asked for a 1 to 2 low fade and looks like there’s a line around my head. After a few minutes of trimming and really doing nothing, I asked him to stop so I could clean it up at home. Really disappointing and not had this issue in years (and been to many great clips stylists and locations who’ve done it well). All good - just avoid Hugh if you’re a guy needing a fade.

Great place they're all really pretty good but Dawn is my favorite. It used to just be my local shop and now I live in Bradenton and I still go back there.

I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant about heading to a chain hair cutting establishment for a quick neck trim, especially since I was in a bit of a bind after my regular barber (along with seemingly every other barbershop in town) had closed for the day. Desperation set in, and with just ten minutes to spare before closing time, I walked into Great Clips on Clark Road in Sarasota, half expecting to leave with a botched neck trim and possibly minus an ear.
To my surprise, the friendly staff welcomed me with open arms, despite the ticking clock. They assured me that a quick neck trim was no problem, and I was promptly seated in the chair. The lady who took care of me was professional and attentive, listening carefully as I described exactly how I wanted my neck line and curvature.
I have to give credit where credit is due—she did a fantastic job. The line was precise, the curvature spot on, and she even went the extra mile to trim behind my ears. All of this for a mere $7, plus the $3 tip I felt compelled to add for the great service, which made it a tidy $10 bill. It was more than reasonable and left me feeling relieved and quite amused at my initial worries.
Great Clips, you've earned yourself a bit of a fan. While I might not be switching from my regular barber anytime soon, I wouldn't hesitate to come back for a quick trim in a pinch. Thank you for saving my neck, literally and figuratively!

I wish I could leave a -5. Girl I previously had “abruptly “ left. I saw Dawn today. I HAD medium long hair, one length with the front about an inch shorter and blended. Asked for 1 to 1 1/2 inch off. Dawn asked if I wanted the back with long layers to give my hair a little movement. In the mirror she showed me with her finger what looked like a 1 inch difference in length . I wear glasses which I took off for the cut. OMG. I look like a choppy mushroom. The “long”layer is 3 inches shorter than my hair- ALL the way around my head-I now have bangs that are longer than my long layers. Dawn’s response? I can give you your money back! She did offer to recut it- seriously! I now have to live with this for about 6 months. Please don’t make the mistake I made. Don’t go to Dawn I can’t believe she went to school for this.

Good hair cut chain..they keep your profile in the computer so even if you get a different stylist or location they know your preferences

I asked her to buzz my undercut with a 1 guard and she literally shaved the back of my head bald. I look like a cancer patient now. Avoid this place like the plague. 0 stars.

Took my daughter here today & needless to say I will never return. My daughter asked for an inch off of her hair… and this is what she got in return. Now we have to spend more money going to a different place to get this mess fixed. I can’t return here and trust they can correct this.
