Gulf Gate Library is a beautiful newer building with a wonderful selection of books and movies, accounting for most interests and different types of media. The aesthetic features a winding staircase and homey colors, creating a very serene and secure feeling. There are lots of comfortable places to sit and read. The staff is amazing, attentive, and very helpful with computer use, finding books, and volunteering. The library offers great additional programming, including free classes and workshops for all ages, which are very informative and helpful. It provides a 5-star experience with plenty of parking and no funky smell.
Absolutely amazing all around. The ability to come here and rent out books is such a blessing. They have a beautuful facility that brings many young as well as older people to get together and embrace in the art of reading. The facility is always clean and the customer service always exceptional. I love this library.

The library has a wonderful selection, and the additional programming is great! I know the library does not run it, but we attended a seminar about estate planning. It was very informative and very, very helpful! I hope they offer this class again so I can bring my family to attend.

Sarasota has a wonderful library system and this location is no exception. Most interests are accounted for as are the different types of media. There are lots of comfortable places to sit and read. My daughter often attends free classes and workshops.
