“There is a lot to like about this place we've walked by many times!! Arrived for our 6:15 resv and the restaurant was already crowded. It was my birthday but they never really looked at the opentable resv so they had no way to know. Ambience is very cozy. Buratta and prosciutto to start...a bit over salted but very good. Our mains were very good, duck and papardelle with meatballs. Vegetables with the duck were an afterthought and should be improved. Our bottle of Super Tuscan wine was outstanding and we will seek it out in the liquor store!! Too full to eat dessert but they did give us complimentary lemon cello. Overall I would not hesitate to go back. Outstanding and gracious service as well!”

“Super clean! Such a great contemporary set up, very open and spacious rooms with shelves and baskets rather than bulky furniture. Under the bed is open for storing suitcases, and did I mention how clean it was?! Definitely recommend”

“As someone who always searches for the best little hidden gems, this one fits the bill! Special little place!!! So clean. Incredibly supplied with everything you need for a short or long stay. Stayed in the cottage with 5 friends for our 50th birthday. The beach chairs, the beach bikes, the beach wagon were amazing to have access to! So many little sitting areas to have a pre dinner drink or morning coffee. I will definitely be back to this new found hidden gem! Thanks Gur!”

“I could not have been happier with my stay. The hotel has such a warm and loved feeling to it - along with the history. I also learned from a neighbor that the owner is a legend... Bringing Caulk Art to Rome and Spain. the art is amazing!!!”

“Absolutely exceptional! The best hotel in Downtown Sarasota, without a doubt! My business trip stay exceeded expectations at this extraordinary gem. The hotel boasts a unique artistic touch, impeccable customer service, and luxurious rooms. The rooftop is stunning and offers breathtaking views. If you're visiting downtown Sarasota, choose this over the Ritz Carlton for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!”

“Loved this hotel. The staff was so nice, the rooms were beautiful. Seems as though they were recently updated *nice touch*
The location is walkable to shops and restaurants.
The only disappointing area was the gym. It was so small with 2 large bathrooms in side. If the bathrooms and the bike were gone there would be more space to do floor exercises.”

Its location near the Mall adds convenience, with shopping and dining just steps away. Highly recommended for a modern and convenient stay!”

“This was by far, the nicest, cleanest, and professional Best Western that I've ever stayed in. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. My son dropped his phone down the elevator shaft and within a few days they called and retrieved it, then had it shipped home back to Tennessee. It is uncommon these days for hotels to really go the extra mile. I highly recommend - the pool is also amazing as well as the location, central to dining and shopping needs.”

“Large room w/kitchenette, great water pressure, very clean, nice staff, good breakfast & an amazing, heated pool. All of this for around $130/night. I will stay here again.”

“Lovely, quiet group of bungalows on Heron Lagoon with shared outdoor space including several grills and tables and lounging chairs nicely arranged. Kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans & utensils for cooking and coffee but no oil or spices. The free Siesta Key trolley runs right past the parking lot and makes it incredibly easy to get around, even if you do not have a car. So nice to have the chairs, umbrella & beach towels available for use while there. Daniel was super responsive, friendly & helpful and clearly loves the area. We are hooked after our first visit to Siesta Key. Would definitely stay at Gertrude Siesta Bungalows again.”

“I am a travel advisor and I will 100% be recommending this hotel to my clients. Rooms and common areas are clean and have a super cute retro vibe! The tik bar on property is a great place to hang out and grab a drink before heading back to your room. Pool area was wonderful as well!”

“Absolutely LOVED staying here! We live 15 min down the road and needed a spring break staycation. This place was perfect and has the retro Florida vacation vibe down pat! We loved the heated pool, the nice tropical courtyard, the bar, and the location! Rooms were super clean and modern also!A huge bonus for us was getting to sit outside and watch the planes fly in all day. Really cool experience! The entire staff was wonderful, friendly, and super helpful. They even let me put some packages in the office for postal pickup. You can tell there is a ton of work being done, and while everything looks fantastic already, I can’t wait to visit in the future to see the updates!Thank you so much!”

“We have stayed at one of the condos at Crescent Royale for the past several years. Great location and facility. Some condos are nicer than others, but overall this place is great to stay at.
Slow elevators.”

“We spent our 41th anniversary here in the Sunset Suite and what a lovely suite it is! Sadly, the hot tub did not work, we were offered to use another suite's hot tub, but that felt kinda weird. The kitchen had everything we needed, and lots of extra towels in the bathroom. We enjoyed the quiet location, the sunsets from our porch overlooking the bay, watching dolphins swim by, and the short walk to turtle beach.”

“I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I came as a guest to the pool. I have to say, Jersey had the best presence and service. She took care of my guests and I like we were family. She was an exceptional bartender. She made sure to make every guest feel welcomed. It truly felt like I was in a friends backyard because of her. She had a knee brace and soldiered on. We will be coming back for sure and we will tell our friends.”

“Very private, my family stayed for 4 nights. The fold out sofa bed mattress is not very comfortable (you can feel the springs) otherwise it served our purpose perfectly. Easy access to Turtle Beach (which was a better time than siesta beach) used the dock when we rented a boat. They also had some beach gear (we bought more and left it behind for the next guest)”

“I had to come in town at the last minute due to the death of my father. The staff treated me like family. So kind and warm. I booked my room for a shorter period than I thought but the manager was able to extend my stay without issue at my initial rate. Daeveon (Manager) was exceptional. He gave me restaurant places and quiet little places to reflect while grieving. I definitely recommend staying here. Thanks to this great staff that was so wonderful in my time of need.”

“We stayed here two nights for a wedding. The rooms are modern and clean. We liked that the bedroom had a door to shut to keep noise down. The parking is unusual with it being above the lobby. A little weird at first until you get used to it. We had breakfast included and enjoyed it. Buffet style but lots of options and clean with nice staff. Pool is small but we didn’t use it so can’t comment much more on it. It also a very short drive to the downtown Sarasota area. If you have no issues walking, you could even walk it. Lobby staff was also always helpful and friendly.”

“I had to stay at the hotel because my flight got delayed. The airline messed up my voucher but Ashley at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Mary in the restaurant was super helpful and kind. Both of them together truly turned a bad situation completely around. Thank you for being so professional and kind!”

“The woman at the front desk was super nice and welcoming! The room rate was inexpensive for the area and convenient to the downtown. The building is older, but everything on property was clean.”

“nice and quiet area plus the rooms are very clean and the staff makes sure I get my room saved for me when driving down there all I have to do is call to tell them im running late because of the hour and 45 minute drive. Thank you for that”

“The staff were all great. I loved that the breakfast was made fresh to order (rather than continental breakfast which is typically disgusting). There were a few things that did rub me the wrong way though... There's random dudes that just hang around in the parking lot drinking at night (possibly homeless?) and it gives a sketchy vibe. There should definitely be cameras around the parking lot for safety... Our room had mold. My wife is a manager for a restoration company, so she pointed it out immediately when we walked in. Another thing that kinda sucked was that we weren't able to use the pool because there were just soooo many kids. That's not really the hotels fault I guess. But maybe allow the pool to stay open for adults only past a certain time. Not everyone enjoys 1,000 kids jumping in the water and splashing everyone around them.”

“This is a surprisingly well kept Days Inn. The staff was friendly. Our room was really clean except for the worn couch. They provided referrals for food and car service which were both excellent. MVP car service available 24/7. The pizza place was very good. Rico's Italian across the street was fantastic as well. Goodwill next door. Overall, we would stay again in a heartbeat.”

“Bitsy the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, other than that everything else was about above average for a room and how long we stayed, breakfast, parking, laundry, everything you could need in the downtown area where there’s always traffic”
