“This place is fabulous and 5 stars is not enough! The room was sparkling clean and ready for check in when they said it would be and so well decorated. Being able to just walk to the beach from Casa Limonada was perfect. Each unit has a cart with chairs and an umbrella for the beach, which we used every day. I also appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for your stay, including a wine opener and even a lunchbox, which we used when we went to the beach. Ice is provided on site in the community building. This place is truly a hidden gem and we can't wait to come back here!”

“Great location and staff! The rooms were clean. We were awoken to very loud banging coming from the workout room on the 3rd floor. The view from any of the rooms is minimal with very little bay view. But it is a city side hotel not bay front. The staff really made it great. The beds are comfy.”

“Loved this hotel. The staff was so nice, the rooms were beautiful. Seems as though they were recently updated *nice touch* The location is walkable to shops and restaurants. The only disappointing area was the gym. It was so small with 2 large bathrooms in side. If the bathrooms and the bike were gone there would be more space to do floor exercises.”

“It was very nice. Everything for cooking & grilling. Free laundry room with detergent, etc. & all the refills you needed for kitchen & bathroom. Backpack beach chairs & towels were provided as well as pool toys. Pool was warm and not crowded. Could walk to the beach. Nice little motel!”

“Lovely, quiet group of bungalows on Heron Lagoon with shared outdoor space including several grills and tables and lounging chairs nicely arranged. Kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans & utensils for cooking and coffee but no oil or spices. The free Siesta Key trolley runs right past the parking lot and makes it incredibly easy to get around, even if you do not have a car. So nice to have the chairs, umbrella & beach towels available for use while there. Daniel was super responsive, friendly & helpful and clearly loves the area. We are hooked after our first visit to Siesta Key. Would definitely stay at Gertrude Siesta Bungalows again.”

“We have been staying there while it was still Ameniti. And actually on the day of the official brand change. Amazing front desk stuff and housekeeping is outstanding. Very clean, friendly and very accommodating place. Highly recommended! I suggest to check in the presidential suite on the 6th or 5th floor. Great pool area and very cool grilling patio as well. Just wanted to mention a couple of names to express our gratitude for making our stay enjoyable. Great thanks to Tim, you're awesome. Briefly met Charisse but she is super kind and welcoming. Much appreciation to the entire housekeeping staff. We will always look forward to coming back here.”

“We stayed in Villa 2 which was very clean, updated and equipped well for our needs. The pool was nice for a swim after returning from the beach. We did wish there was a TV in the bedroom. There is plenty of clearly marked parking for each unit as long as guests park in their assigned spots. This was not the case during our stay. We returned from an evening out to find the spots for unit 1 and 2 blocked and unaccessible. Luckily we were able to squeeze our vehicle into the circle drive in front of the building.”

“We have stayed at this hotel for years. It has recently changed hands and the new additions to the property are amazing. The customer service is exceptional. Michelle at the front desk is a consummate professional with outstanding professionalism with every person she takes care of. Her kindness and attention to detail makes checking in a breeze. She even managed to get us upcoming reservations for the holidays. We love staying at this hotel during the holidays and stay every single year. This place feels like coming home and the staff always makes you feel welcome. The new TVs and AC in the rooms was a pleasant surprise. I only wish their breakfast had more “grab and go” items like muffins or pastries. Overall my family LOVES staying here. Every time we visit family in Sarasota we stay here. Thank you again for another amazing weekend!”

“The hotel's beautiful with that water view. Rachel at the front desk is super nice and welcomed us with champagne. The room was clean, and I really appreciated housekeeping making my bed – it made me feel so much better after a hot day outside to come back to a clean room and neatly stacked towels. My only suggestion would be to provide some dishes, forks, spoons, and paper towels since there's a full fridge and microwave, which is great, but no dishes makes it inconvenient. I mean, a few paper plates and plastic forks would make a big difference.”

“Very private, my family stayed for 4 nights. The fold out sofa bed mattress is not very comfortable (you can feel the springs) otherwise it served our purpose perfectly. Easy access to Turtle Beach (which was a better time than siesta beach) used the dock when we rented a boat. They also had some beach gear (we bought more and left it behind for the next guest)”

“This was a last minute booking after a long day on the beach. We will absolutely be back. You’d think with this review we stayed at a 5 stay luxury presidential suite. We LOVED our stay. For the price, for the simplicity, and just the cleanliness and convenience. Such a great find and hidden little gem. The staff was amazing, the rooms so refreshing and clean. The quality of the bedding and the products in the shower are AMAZING to the point I even opened the pillow case to see the brand because I want them for my house. And the shampoo, conditioner and body wash is like something you’d find in a 3-4 star hotel. Easily. We love you guys and looking forward to our next stay. Will definitely make this our accommodation when we do our quick little weekend getaways in the area.”

Location was great, beach steps away. My one complaint was our floors were not mopped and quite dirty. I did let staff know so they can do better. I will be back!”

“The rooms are nice. The place seems a little outdated but thats probably a Courtyard problem not this particular location problem. The guy who works up front(maybe a manager) is very nice. He made any changes or extensions easy to do and I liked him. One of the girls at the desk was short with me but I’ll assume she was having a bad day. I had a small issue with housekeeping All in all it’s a good hotel. The manager and nice rooms made it worth it. And the balcony. It is rare to find balconies anymore and they have them. I did not eat there though.”

“I arrived on a late flight into SRQ and called the hotel for the shuttle. Kenny arrived within 10 minutes, exactly as promised, and immediately made a great first impression. He clearly loves his job and genuinely loves the property—and it shows. What a wonderful ambassador for the hotel! When we arrived, the front desk staff were not immediately evident, so Kenny went above and beyond by helping me with check-in and telling me about the hotel and its amenities. After a late flight, that kind of warm, helpful service made for a particularly nice arrival experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed when I arrived, but the breakfast buffet the next morning offered plenty of choices. I especially appreciated the fresh fruit, which actually tasted fresh rather than previously frozen. The hotel is not located near other restaurants, so having a car may be helpful if you want dining options beyond the property. That said, the hotel itself has a wonderfully relaxing vacation feel. The outdoor pool area, with its private cabana spaces and easy access from the indoor pool, is a particularly nice feature. My room was clean and comfortable, and I especially liked the spacious shower with heavy glass doors and excellent water pressure. Overall, a very pleasant stay, made even better by the genuinely friendly staff. And Kenny deserves special recognition—he was the perfect ambassador for the property. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful stay at this hotel!!! To my great surprise they have a pool, hot tub and a cold plunge all outside and it was spectacular! The pool bar and service were wonderful. The staff were so friendly! There was a free vw bus that was available to take you places and Chuck gave us a little tour! It was amazing! Everything is in walking distance of entertainment or a free library that was huge and beautiful. The opera house and theaters are near by the beach also a very short ride away. The balcony rooms over the pool were so beautiful at night. An excellent experience. My only complaint the elevator wall paper is nauseatingly wild 🫣🤣”
