My Grady White Freedom 285 received damage from Hurricane Ian. I did not want to take it to the dealer of purchase, so I asked my canal neighbor where he bought his and would he recommend them. He told me to speak to Sean Keathley at Ingman Marine. Before contacting Sean I called for Mr. Ingman, but got a general manager that told me Mr. Ingman does not take calls and that he handles everything for him. I spoke with Sean, and the first email with pictures went out on 11/13/2022. Sean explained to me that with a location down, inventory damaged, and current customers needing work it would be many months until they could get my boat in. He gave me an estimate based on photos, and a check came in from my insurance made out to Ingman Marine. We were all set, and I knew I had to wait a while. We stayed in contact and the date to get me in had changed a few times. My boat was to go in the beginning of July / 2023, then moved to August 2023. Until one day I had called for Sean and spoke to the GM again (he would not put me over to Sean). He told me it was going to be another 4 months from what Sean had Promised me. I explained the situation, and he did not want to hear it. TOTALLY UNACCEPTIBLE FROM THE GM!! I did call and spoke to Sean again, and at the end of the conversation like others I expressed to “not forget about me and call me back” I never heard back and to date never have from Sean. Now over a year later and I can’t get my boat in another place until Jan, 2024 and will be down for months. Ingman Marines actions has caused me to have my boat on a waiting list for 10 plus months with them, when it could have been down long ago.Do not waste your time dealing with this man and his company. Learn from mine and others mistakes. This man like many other company’s set it up so that they do not have to deal with people, nor do they keep their finger on the pulse of their business. A receipt for failure!!I look forward to seeing a day when Ingman Marine goes out of business!!

This place is an absolute joke. Calked an asked about a power pole bracket was told it was $219.99. So i ordered it and had my wife pick it up. They charged her $300. I called the following business day to ask why an they told me and i quote that it was for shipping costs. How do i pay for shipping for a part that was picked up in person? This is an absolute joke and i will never use for my business nor recommend this store to any body ever, in fact I recommend that you DO NOT use this store!

Purchased a brand new Stingray boat from Ingman Marine in Sarasota and their quality service was top notch from the very beginning. The transaction was smooth and easy from the moment we walked in the door and met with Scott in sales.Scott, along with Devan and the entire team in the service department answered every question we had with patience and professionalism. We highly recommend this business, we are so happy with our new boat and very satisfied with the whole experience.Thank you, Ingman Marine!

I would like to share my excellent customer service at Ingman Marine. I found a boat that I felt would be a good fit for me at the Ingman Port Charlotte store. I talked to Taylor Broyles, very knowledgeable and super helpful with all with all of my questions, trying to be sure I was making the right decision. Taylor is a very patient young man and I felt that he genuinely wanted us to be happy with our purchase “we are” . I asked for the boat to be brought to the Sarasota store since we live 40 miles north of the Port Charlotte store. Taylor made in happen. At this point I dealt with Devon the service manager of the Sarasota store and Captain Chris for the seatrial. These three gentlemen that work for Ingman Marine were instrumental in us buying our boat from Ingman. Taylor, Devon and Chris went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our purchase.I highly recommend Ingman and their team for any of you boat purchases. These guys are on point!

Pleased with product and service. Bought a used 255 Freedom from Chris Parro at the Placida location, got a great deal. Had an issue, so Devin and Chris from the Sarasota location met us at the downtown ramp and they fixed my engine within an hour. Terrific experience, awesome service....highly recommend!

Top notch service from beginning to the end. I was working with Wayne, he conducted himself very professionally, was very knowledgeable, extremely easy to work with. This is the first time I ordered a brand-new boat I had a Redfisher 21 built. From the beginning Wayne did not come off as a pushy salesman trying to get another sale, he was able to answer all my questions with confidence. He listened to all my needs and concerns he offered good suggestions that otherwise could have cost me hundreds more if I would have waited till later. Wayne stayed in constant contact with me through the entire process giving me updates as the boat was being built. Anytime I texted Wayne he answered in a timely manner which made me feel very comfortable and I never felt like I had any unanswered questions, concerns or doubts about my order. There was full transparency from beginning to the end no hidden or unexpected junk fees. I am extremely happy with my build! I decided to skip the sea trial and do a parking lot pick up. Devin the service manager was very thorough helping me go over the entire boat explaining how everything operates etc. He even helped me look for blemishes or other factory defects and gave me the option to have them addressed now or when I did the 20hrs service. I elected to wait till the 20hrs service to give me time to learn the boat and to see if I found any other problems. Devin and the Ingman team stood by their word, during the 20hrs service they addressed all my issues and concerns. Devin also stayed in constant contact with me either by text, email or phone. Devin and the Ingman service team had my boat in and out in no time at all they even addressed things I installed myself without charging me extra. All in all, if you are looking to build or buy a boat or even have service performed, I would highly recommend Ingman Marine!!!!

My experience with the service department at Ingman marine has been top notch. Devon, Chris and the crew are good guys and they treat you fairly. Many dealers around town would not take my Grady 335 Freedom in for service because I didn’t buy the boat from them. Ingman took my boat in and did a great job. I’ll be telling more people about these guys.

We ordered our boat at Ingman in Sarasota and took delivery this week! Great customer service, Wayne our sales person walked us through everything we would need vs over kill options not needed on the boat. When we took delivery, Chris took us out for a sea trial, and spent all the time we needed to make sure we were comfortable with the boat, how to operate every single feature and road all the way to our Marina and helped us get settled. Will not shop anywhere else for a boat or service. Have not had our first service yet, but the team was introduced and made us feel extremely welcome.

I have been dealing with Ingman's Sarasota for 5 years. Devon is by far one the best service managers of any company that I have ever dealt with. Not only do they stand behind their workmanship 100%, they also take it upon themselves to spot warranty issues that should be covered during routine servicing. From a new captain seat to having welds repaired on my toons, they have saved me a BOAT load of money! If you have a pontoon boat, call Devon! He will go out of his way to take care of you!

My experience with Ingman Marine has been 5 star across the board since I purchased my Cobia 237 in July 2020. Scott (Sales) and Gene (The manager) were a pleasure to deal with during the purchase process. The service department has been outstanding!! I have never said that about any service department in my life. I caused a couple of issues, and they went out of their way to help me each time. Devin runs the service department, and saying that he is good at his job is like saying Michael Jordan was just a good basketball player. He has met me at the boat ramp and jumped on to take a look at something. He has picked up my boat at my marina. He has talked me through some repairs I could do myself. I dropped my boat off last Wednesday at 11:00am for the 200 hour service, and he called me the next morning to come get it. I wish more people were as committed to their job and their customers as Devin is, and I give credit to his entire team, as they do the work on it. Thanks for making boat ownership an absolute pleasure.

I am a charter captain on Anna Maria Island. I had a leaking power trim seal on my 2019 Yamaha 300. I called and was immediately given an appointment to bring my boat in. I brought the boat in the following week and Devin the master tech was there to greet me and take my boat. I had the boat back the same day good as new. They also greased all of my fittings and lubed the inside of the engine. Everything was completed under warranty with no charge. Service was fantastic and fast. I would reccommend Devin and Ingman Marine for all your Yamaha needs!

The service technicians at Ingman Marine treated me like royalty. They picked up my boat with THEIR trailer and transported it safely to Ingman. They were on time so I didn't have to waif a moment. They completed my service quickly and completely and the boat was cleaner when I picked it up than it was when I left it with them. Darin took the time to explain the details of my service and provided valuable advice on what I could do to maximize my Pathfinder's performance and longevity. Kudo's to the service department at Ingman Marine.

November 2021 by Cap’nDoug Tearin’EmUp! Sarasota Fishing Charters
Excellent quality of service from the staff, very knowledgeable!I’ve been a fishing guide in Sarasota since 2006. I run about 200 charters a year, that’s a ton of hours on a motor, about 300 a year, I’ve run Yamaha outboards the whole time. I’ve been through some used motors (old two strokes OX66) and have had my share of repairs and maintenance, I bought a brand new Yamaha 175 from Ingman in november, I have been blown away by the attention to detail and professionalism of their service staff. i’ve never seen this level of service in my whole time in this industry. I went in for my hundred hour service, Dang! they greased and lubed stuff I never even noticed. The friendly and knowledgeable service manager Devon got me in there quick and made concessions due to my business, thank you sir, and Vinnie the Yamaha motor tech is brilliant young mechanic who has a winning attitude, professional demeanor and he knows his stuff. Thank you Ingman Marine for doing such a great job! At first I was somewhat apprehensive, assuming that going to a dealership shop, perhaps I would be overcharged or brushed off to the side with my old boat, BUT, that was not the case! They were very fair with the charges and their level of service is a great value, like no other mechanic/service I’ve ever experienced, I’m looking forward to returning to Ingman Marine by the airport for all my Yamaha outboard maintenance in the future.
