Dr. Havlovic is the worst doctor I have ever seen, not only did fire me as a patient, she had me banned from all intercoastal offices. My wife was supposed to have blood work done. but she canceled all her tests. Havlovic needs her medical license revoked and fired from intercoastal, as because of actions i almost lost my Short Term Disability because she would fill the paperwork that was asked of her.

Incompetent. Un-business-like. Uneducated. I know much of the world has gotten lazy, uncaring and different since Covid. But medical "professionals" are IN CHARGE OF US LIVING OR DYING. Medical offices have to be on point. There is no room for mistakes. Mistakes cause misdiagnosis and death. Medical staff CANNOT lose paperwork. Medical people CANNOT close divisions of their offices for weeks on end. Medical staff should be as good as the doctors who lead their offices. Your STAFF does not control my living or dying. I won't allow it. I have never witnessed such unprofessional actions from a medical office in my life. If you are a Dr. of high ethics & integrity, and you work with this Intercoastal branch, quick, run to a different practice group. You should not be dragged down by this staff - - why lose patients because of inept staff?

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Havlovic at the Potter Park location and she was wonderful! I felt she was very thorough, listened and was easy to talk to. I am happy to have found her. I noticed people have spoken of bad experiences with other staff, but the nurse and women who checked me in/out were friendly when I was there.

If I could give them less than one star I would! My husband and I both have seen Doctor I was please with the times I had seen him. About 2 years ago my husband started having issues with sugar levels. Well, he was put on met forman after a few weeks he made the doctor aware it was horrible on his system. His A1C kept coming back in the normal ranges. But yet still having major issues. Each time we saw the doc his answer was to run more blood work which came back normal. Well a few weeks ago my husband became very ill once again and I was advised to ask to see another doctor at the office. We were scheduled to see another doctor and when we got to the office I was told he had to see his primary Doctor. I asked to see the Office Manager who didn't even introduce himself to me. He knew I was upset and I wanted answers. I asked him why they could not call me? Why could they not call us to let me know that they could not honor our request? We had to see our primary care doctor. I asked him to put in a transfer to another doctor in the office which they later denied with no explanation. I was told we don't provide a reason. But I knew why! The office manager didn't want to take any responsibility for their failure to call me or to inform me we had to see our primary care doc. Nor did he have the professionalism to ask me to step into a hallway to talk to him about the issues. He stood behind the glass and I was in the entryway with a mask on and yes I talked to him loud so he could hear me. We saw the primary care doc. And you guessed it he had no answers as to what was going on.... just more blood work that came back normal. After a few days, my husband and I each got a letter stating that our primary doctor would no longer see either of us. The lack of care for the patient and the rudeness of the manager makes me very happy I won't have to deal with them again. I have found several yelp reviews stating this is a common practice of Intercoastal Medical office to discharge patients. We too were not an isolated case.

I like my Intercoastal docs very much and would give each 5 stars, and the same for my PCP's nurse - just excellent. I'm writing this because there's no easy way to speak with someone "in charge". The 1 star rating is because every time I call the office there is a terribly long wait to speak with someone. I just waited 18 mins. to get a prescription question answered. I asked why it took so long, and the response was that they are short staffed - I asked if that's because of illness or vacation and the answer was "no - we're just short staffed". Sorry, but whom ever is running Intercoastal (and someone or a board must be) needs to be aware that their patients should be treated with the same respect that we give to their office staff at visits, and while reasonable wait times are to be expected, more than 10 mins. is outrageous - hire more people - based on the number of people who must be calling, surely generating revenue can't be too much of a problem, and there's no need to hire an RN to answer the phone.

I had a very good experience with this office. I was referred for follow up visit from an ER visit as i dont have a Dr in Florida. I was told when i called that there were only 2 physicians accepting new patients. I selected Dr Havlovic. Not knowing anything about her or the office. I was treated wonderfully by the front desk staff and also by Dr Havlovic. She was exactly what i needed. Thoughtful, knowledgeable, and was extremely through. She will be my new PCP and i am very happy with this office

I am triggered, disappointed, waste of time and money. I literally was a new patient just this month looking for a new PCP and will not be going back for further care. The staff is completely incompetent. If you have a true health concern I would seek care elsewhere, BEWARE! They didn't inform me there was blood in my urine for FOUR weeks and then did not recommend any care or specialist visits after three total bloody urine samples (which I had to take off work to provide on three separate days). Instead they wanted to wait another month to get ANOTHER URINE SAMPLE. The nurse did not explain the testing they performed or findings. I had to proactively call their office multiple times to even find out whether they had cultured the samples. I had to find my own urologist to look into this issue. Intercoastal will not release my records to a specialist not "in my care team". Intercoastal wants me to only see their referred urologist, who has terrible reviews on Blue Shield and Yelp. The front office staff incorrectly told me that I could not get a second opinion from my own urologist. When my Insurance Rep called them back they had a different answer, just fax over a release form. Oh, and my records are held hostage as the online portal is inaccessible. I cannot even review the lab work to confirm what they are telling me. I have spent two days working with their support team, still not resolved. At this point I will have to physically drive to the office AGAIN to get my own hard copy records. I will never step foot back in the office after that again. It's unfortunate because the bedside manner of doctors was good, the staff is just incompetent. If I cannot trust this practice to test a urine sample, I cannot imagine having a true health concern. I cannot trust this practice with my health and I'm saying this as a healthy adult in my 30s.

Clean and pleasant place. All appointments seem to be addressed in a timely matter. I can’t say enough good about this place.

The front staff at Intercoastal Medical Group does not care if the Dr. gets to see you or not, they are rude, they never answer the phone before a 15min. wait and the message states that they are consistently trying to improve there service which has never happens, and when you set in the waiting room they the front staff are having there own little conversations, I have stopped going to them and would not recommend this group to any one, the crazy thing is the Dr.'s know this is happening and don't seem to care.
