My husband bought my engagement/wedding ring from JC Penny. He also got a life time plan with it. So far the plan has been good. Dropped it off at Sarasota store. The lady told us it should be two weeks, maybe three, to get my ring fixed. It has been 2.5 weeks. So we tried and tried to call the store. No one will pick up the phone! It rings for about a minute, then the call automatically hangs up. After the seventh try, we called the customer service number. Which was a joke. The lady was hard to understand and couldn't wrap her head around our situation. It's a bit of a drive or else we we check on it that way. Very frustrating to try and talk to real person. (Have yet to do so).

The last J C Penny store left in our area. I think it's very underrated. The selection is great, not a lot in the petite section. The prices are reasonable, and the coupons they send in the mail always come in handy.

I ordered something online and it was for curb-side pick up. We did the process to let them know we were there and waited about 30 minutes before going inside to ask for assistance. No one really listened to us and finally someone told us to go wait in the car again and no one ever came out. We waited over an hour in total and everyone we encountered was rude and not helpful. I’ve been calling the store for the last couple of days and no one ever answers. I just want to return the item I never received and never ever go to JC Penny again.

Everything was fine in the store and the people who helped me at the checkout, it's just that I would have liked to buy more things but the prices were very high.
