It's alright, the rooms are cleaner than a complete dive. The house keep'n are nice. The counter help are generally attentive. Breakfast is okay but they need to get rid of the jail eggs. Carpets aren't nearly as nasty as older inexpensive hotels. The look is alright. The suites are a life saver if stay'n for a few days with multiple people. The pool is nice once they fet the walls fixed from the hurricane. It's over all pretty chill.

Hey guys; hey Wyndham!!! You need to destroy these kind of buildings and rebuilt from ground zero. Hey hey hey!!! Unfortunately the other hotels I booked in Sarasota were canceled in last minute due to some issues and I had to take this to not sleep in car. Hey I am in the middle of my road trip; I stayed at many hotels and Marriott was the best but Wyndham; guys are you crazy? Marriott 4 star in Jacksonville and Charlotte is 120 usd and this trash La Quinta in Sarasota was 180 usd!!!!!! Room was so dirty I could not touch anything, bed I was afraid to sleep, room was very smelly, dirty dirty and dirty, everywhere smelling weed, so disgusting!!! This was the worst hotel of my road trip in Florida. Man this building is trash, rebuilt a new one. And oh my god, 180 usd for a night!!!!! Marriott Jacksonville 4 stars, so so so so so much high class and only 120 usd…

One of the worst LaQuinta hotel's I've ever stayed at. The elevator would get stuck and even after I explained "My foot was broken, the girl told me basically not her problem!" So I had to walk up four flights of stairs with a broken foot. Hotel can make all the improvements it wants, but if you don't fix the elevator and insist that disabled people need to suck it up. Then there is a way bigger issue. Stay away!

This is not the worst LaQuinta I've stayed at, but it was well below average. Pros: Staff was polite and accommodated late arrival, the room was clean. Cons: The building is in disrepair with paint chipping off the walls in both the common areas and the room, there was a dirty rag in the hallway, a cigarette butt for at least 12 hours on the floor in the elevator, and the elevator safety certificate is several months expired.

Hotel and room smelled of marijuana. No hot water and roaches

Not elegant, a little worn but ok. Some staff barely speak English, had to resort to a combination of Spanish and pantomime.

All staff very helpful! Excellent!!!
They are fixing the hotel, the cleaning of the rooms is good, the cleaning of the hotel is average.
Breakfast is good for the price. You have juices, coffee, milk, to make toast, waffles, yogurt, fruits, cream cheese and jams.
You have coffee and fresh water service all day.
In general line good.
Rooms: It was clean. Wide.

Disgusting and worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this place. The property and managers were awful!

Terrible hotel. Hotel gave us a room in the 3rd floor, the hallway walls have heavy mold. The smell were so bad that we decided to check out and go somewhere else for our 4 day vacation. Also the elevator was broken so we have to walk the three floors with heavy suitcases, my wife pain on her knee and our service dog. The mold were so strong that we feel like puking and shortness of breath. I can believe the hotel management put in risk people health just to make money. Health Department should close the third floor until is fixed.

Hallway fights, unsanitary rooms, poor management.
Property damaged due to hurricanes, aside from that the condition of the interior is unkept and dated. Breakfast did not offer options for allergies. Cleanliness of the room did not offer peace of mind or safety. Would not recommend this hotel.
Safety: Another guest pounded on my door and somebody else’s at 2am shouting violent profanities. This went on for 15 minutes before I called the front desk, nobody picked up. Keep in mind, the room I stayed in was down the hall from where a staff member would’ve heard this happening.

There’s a chicken leg that’s been in one stairwell for a few days and the other stairwell smells like vomit. The shower head looks radioactive. There’s a light upside down in front of the building somehow. Room keys also don’t like to work.
