I go here everyday this was my store ,close to home & my customers but had a major problem the other day . One of my regular customers wanted a tongue & groove ceiling installed in the back lanai in Lakewood Ranch I have been installing it for him for 8 yrs now So we set it up and ordered lumber from probuild picked up headed to Lowe's on Cortez Rd . When I arrived the customer called and said he wanted ( Red Oak 215 ) Lowe's had nothing on the shelves so I asked Lowe's (Mixologist) if he could check and see if some was up top (Restock) said there was a can never found one I said thanks I'll go to Lowe's on St Rd 70 .. as I'm walking away he said hey you know I can tint that for you .. I didn't know you could tint stains just paint .. I'm a finish carpenter so I we stain our faux beams , ceilings , etc to what the customer asks for.. so I said will it match that yellow cam the oil base he said exact word ABSOLUTELY so I said let's do it.. stained all the wood finished ceiling customer called said let's do the front .. he walked the back said looks Amazing except it's the wrong color
.. I said yeah right he said SERIOUSLY. Went straight to Lowe's bout a gallon of the yellow which was in stock.. went home put it on the pine and it's way different.. found out he gave me a water base which is completely different then oil base... Like I said I'll never listen or do another job like that been in business 20 yrs and this is the first issue I've ever had.. so now he's not paying u til I change color which is a sand and finish over head which is a lot of free work asked Lowe's to pay for the cieling .. Which I feel if a man or woman is behind that counter they better know what they are doing and what they are selling to contractors and homeowners. I am an insured and legit business owner but So is Lowe's and I have pictures and proof ... And they also have cameras waiting on corporate and I hope they make up and treat customers as I do ... I'm adding photos video I'll take this review down if Lowe's handles this like professionals and not corrupt corporate business.

Deb did not want to help me as they are closing and have no registers to help ring my order, so I had to check myself out and had a few issues with using the Lowe's credit cards and she insisted to not take over and finish the check out but said she would just watch. Well as soon as I ask my girlfriend to take over because she is in retail well immediately Deb the Lowe's assistant took over for her??? Now is Deb being bias or gender specific and not willing to treat all customers equally??? How about a little customer service training for Deb?

Beware!!!! SW Sarasota, FL store. Bought an electric pressure washer 6 days ago, stopped working on first use. Took it back to exchange it, was told they don’t do exchanges. Told them just refund on store credit and I’ll buy another one but was told they don’t refund after 48hrs unless still sealed in box. Called manager, he said to do exchange, then she refunded to my card, not exchange, not store credit. Explained to her that’ll take days to go back on card and that I had asked for store credit. She definitely wasn’t too bright. Called customer service - nonchalant couldn’t give a crap reply from them. Home Depot here I come, so tired of ZERO customer service at Lowe’s. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re next on the chopping block.

My one-star rating is for the search engine on your website. I'm trying to find a replacement door for a pocket door. I put in the measurements and the requirements and it comes back with $137 results of things that aren't even packet doors let alone just the door only. This is for work and I was hoping not to have to come to the store to take pictures of the prices. I know they have these there I was just there this weekend and I bought one for my own personal residence. So I know they have them but yet the website search engine won't show them to me.
This happens quite often when I'm searching for things to show the price to my employer or customer. Things that I know they have in stock. I've also looked up things that I found on the search engine and they say they are in stock and I go to the store and they don't have any.

My family went to return some items that came to a total of around $60. My dad was ignored, mocked, and pressed by customer service staff. Gabby, another girl, and a manager named Jeff repeatedly made the situation more difficult, one saying they couldn’t even return items because some were late? The manager (Jeff) asked my dad if he should punch his staff to reprimand them?? What kind of messed up question is this? On top of this there was a sense of heavy sarcastic tones, and rolling eyes from the CS staff. I’ve worked customer service most of my life. The is the epitome of disrespectful service. I’d re-interview most of that staff as I saw more problems come up with other customers in-line. Hope this clears some things up about the store, won’t be the last 1-star review you see

They're hiring department really stinks they won't get back to you they won't even answer your question when you ask them why I've actually taken my business elsewhere to hell with Lowe's go to Home Depot at Lowe's damn workers stand around or when they see you coming to ask him a question they walk the other way and most of the time they don't even honor their returns it's horrible they make up their own policies when you go to try to return things no longer dealing with Lowe's should go out of business Lowe's You should embarrass the people you hire

BBQ grill was supposed to be assembled and delivered. It was delivered unassembled and now I have to deal with a third party to come home and assemble at their schedule. Third Party doesn’t answer the phone on weekends.

So I went in to get a few things I needed post storm on my lunch break unfortunately they didn’t have what I needed but their was a gentleman from Miami helping out who got me to where I needed very kind very helpful.
I then thought we’ll I need a little touch up paint let me grab it while I here. I walk down the paint area which clearly the gentleman on the lift putting stuff away was not pleased with I could tell by his look I stayed out his way. I grab my paint waited about 10 minutes at the counter to save time I paid for it first then came back. Still waiting as the two men stocked. Another worker saw how long I was waiting and let them know I was there after another 10 minutes he came over & informed me he could not mix the paint to the color I needed at that point I was out of time now I’ll have to find another day I can get back.
But honestly not looking forward to it. I could tell they didn’t want to help me and me being there was just a bother.

Tried calling to check to see if an oven I’m interested in buying is available to view on display. I called around 2pm today and waited on hold for 38 minutes before having to give up since it’s the middle of my work day. Not sure what’s going on with this company, since the same thing happened with another location of theirs, but at this rate, the customer service is not worth the hassle or risk of shopping with them.
