18 months ago my husband and I purchased a beautiful glass blown pitcher as a wedding gift from Maria at Malbi Decor in Sarasota, Florida and had it shipped to California. I had not seen the recipient since the purchase, but recently I asked if the gift was received.. I was told the gift was not received, so I called the store and Maria immediately took my information and preceded to look into the situation. She solved the mystery after spending plenty of effort. Her willingness to help with a positive attitude and continued correspondence was appreciated. Maria provided excellent service. I would highly recommend taking time to shop at her beautiful shop.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Customer Service
We recently purchased a beautiful water pitcher from this store. It had a lovely design featuring a fish at the bottom and a cat perched on top. We were assured it was sturdy and durable. After using it twice, on the third use, the fish snapped off when we poured ice-cold water into it.
We returned to the store, expecting a simple exchange. However, we were told the owner was in Italy and wouldn’t be back until the end of October. In the meantime, we’d have to wait for any resolution.
As professionals in the customer service industry, having once owned the number one restaurant in the world, we know what good customer service looks like. When I suggested taking a picture of the damaged product and sending it to the owner for a quicker response, I was told that was impossible, and we’d just have to wait.
This level of customer service is absolutely unacceptable. Asking customers to wait two months for a response is beyond unreasonable and offensive. I strongly recommend that this business reassess how they treat customers when problems arise. We certainly expected more from a store of this caliber.

A great find during our two-week stay in Siesta Key. We bought some beautiful jewellery but if we lived here we’d soon go broke buying all the wonderful glassware.

I love Malbi Decor! They have the best selection of Massimo Lunardon glass I have ever seen outside of Italy. Maria is always so friendly and helpful.

When you visit Sarasota you must go to Malbi Decor. And once you visit you will come back to the store again and again. Malbi Decor offers an extensive selection of Italian design dishes, glasses, vases, textiles, art, and jewelry and is perfect for gifts or finding very special purchases for your home. The owner sources all of the items from local artisans in Italy. She has a superb sense of design and color. Everyone that visits my home compliments the lamps and glassware I purchased at Malbi Decor. Malbi Decor offers beautiful and fun jewelry and women's accessories - there is so much choice - I shop often! I am so happy we have Malbi Decor downtown!
