I am a former employee at this location and it's a horrible place to work. I had probably the worst experience here. The rumors that I have heard over the years of how Walmart treats there employees horribly is definitely true. To start I was lied to about my starting pay. Management was also horrible. Specifically Rich & Genesis. Genesis is immature and unprofessional. I don't recommend trying to work here or shop here. The place is very unsanitary as well as all the prices on the shelves are incorrect. So beware you might run into a lot of issues while shopping at this location.

The employees working at the self check out are always very polite and helpful, but the assistant store manager Amy is the rudest and the most unprofessional one working at that store, she is rude towards many customers and I saw a few occasions. She is the one many customers are complaining about and left this store, so be careful when you shop at that store you may come across that assistant manager named Amy, she can cause you a lot of pain shopping there.

Placed order for delivery. Wine was on sale. Ordered 5 bottles and other item. Saved $1.00/bottle BUT they bagged all 5 bottles in one plastic bag. Delivery man said they were trying to save bags!Of course the bag ripped! I wouldn't bag more than 2 in one sack. When I tried to complain, staff tried to blame the delivery guy. So did corporate.I have actually been in the store when they were overpacking things and said they were trying to save bags. Ridiculous!

The store employees are fantastic, they are more then gracious, but beware the management team are just awful starting with the top ! The store manager is the rudest person I have ever come across she obviously hates her job and can't stand people in a people person environment. I can't really blame her management team as they have learned from the worst. We are homeless and sit in parking lot because it's safe. Walmart allows you to spend night in your vehicle but because we don't have one I guess we are not allowed, and know because we were told we cannot sit in parking lot we are banned from the market place. Oh and before this we have had huge generosity from the community and have been given at multiple times 10-15 bags if dog food , so we brought some back to get other things we need living in the street. Because one of the dog food bags was from an employees sister , and her feelings are hurt we are no longer allow d to return items at the store . Yes because someone feelings are hurt the store manager will not let us return items to the store . IS THIS EVEN LEGAL ? FIVE DAYS TILL XMASS AND WE CANNOT GO TO WALMART BECAUSE OF THE NASTYNESS OF THE STORE MANAGER

Patrons are not following the 6 foot rule. Some have masks yes but most do not. People Consistently walk by me a foot or two away. Giving people the benefit of the doubt, maybe they're concentrating on their shopping and what they are looking at on the shelf. but it really is no excuse. Walmart management needs to enforce the 6 foot rule Americans are choosing this selfishness. The longer we delay our social distancing the longer we delay The health of ourselves, others and our economy. Wake the f up folks!

I started shopping this WM shortly after it opened and was impressed by how clean and bright the store was. The manager and staff were so pleasant and willing to help. They all seemed to be enjoying their work and the manager went out of his way to make sure that customers received excellent customer service. Since the new GM has taken over the store has gone down hill dramatically. The produce section isn't as well stocked, out of date or nearly out of date items are still on the shelves, rarely are there any FULL SERVICE cashiers leaving the person at the self check out area to handle all of the customers waiting to check out, the manager seems preoccupied and doesn't engage with his customers, there is rarely anyone at the customer service desk. I wanted to purchase a lottery ticket and had to wait 10 minutes before someone came to help me. There is a "soda fountain" of sorts where you can buy soft drinks, coffee etc., but most of the time the equipment is out of order, there aren't drinking cups available and the area isn't maintained to good health standards. I've quit shopping there and even though I may have to pay a little bit more for my groceries go to Publix right next door. So sad to see this store go down hill.

If i could give zero stars i would. this place has gone down hill since the new GM came into the picture, it used to be a good place with good people but NOW i see them treating their employees like they are nothing... they make you work your shift then fire you. They've lost so many good people who work there because they know your disposable. You'll get fired due to your mental illness or having to do THREE jobs as one person and then get yelled at when you can't complete it. Terrible people and even worse MANAGERS!!!!!

The pharmacy staff is phenomenal and I cannot say enough about them. They are kind, caring, attentive, offer outstanding customer service and always go above and beyond their job duties. As long as I live in Sarasota, I will not go to another pharmacy. I am grateful for each and everyone there.

Amazing for a Walmart. Order your groceries online and use free order pick up, it will change your life.
