I don’t typically leave a review unless i can confidently leave 5 stars! However my recent encounter with the owner of this business left me feeling strongly compelled to share my experience and NOT to discourage others from shopping there, but in hopes that she will at least treat her employees better with the respect and compassion they deserve as the heart best of a small business.
Hopefully she will come to see that it is in fact PEOPLE not PENNIES that will keep small business afloat especially in the age of the internet, and an uncertain economy.
Growing up under a small business roof, working for and owning a small business I know that when the people are right the profits will come.
So, I had made a purchase and a sale at this store…I had been in the store for well over two hours while waiting for the “buy” to be completed so I was definitely ready to leave by the time i was checking out.
The young girl who rang me out was incredibly sweet, I did have questions and was still sorting a pile (trying to stay in budget) and she made a very simple and understandable error and mischarged me for a few things. Total human error NBD.
A few hours later I was putting the things away and noticed the incorrect charges, I immediately called the store and explained what had happened, the girl on the phone also very kind told me not to worry about coming right back because she would need a manager to fix the issue. Understandable. So I went back the next day.
From the moment the girl behind the counter alerted the manager she had an attitude of annoyance.
I explained to her what had happened and told even told her verbatim “I’m sure it was my fault, I was asking lots of questions and I didn’t know the gal was new” her response was ….well i don’t know what you want you me to do about this…OKAY! so that took me wayyyy off guard I actually just said “umm” and this is when it went VERY south …she cut me off and goes well I just can’t prove what you’re saying is true…anyone could have gone and taken things out and claimed false charges….so 2 mins into the conversation she’s calling me a liar.
Idk where to even note that one of the items I purchased was supposed to be a 2pc set …I said don’t even worry about thr missing pants
she finally goes FINE and throws her hands up and says I’ll call the girl..I said okay great and offered a little insight into the conversation I had with the girl to try and Jog her memory…and she put her hand up at me and literally SHUSHED me! Okay I am a whole adult and this woman SHUSHED me in a way I won’t shush my 1 year old …so I walked away to let her speak to the girl and to hopefully reset. she comes back, and this is what bothered me the most!
she goes and I quote…”she (the girl) doesn’t know anything but she’s a total DING A LING” ? (like whaat that’s so rude to say about your employees! I can’t even imagine how she treats them behind closed doors!)
So she offers me store credit (for HALF the incorrect amount) I declined the store credit and she asked why I won’t back to shop, she said “I’m a small business owner every penny counts”
I said well you’ve called me a liar and your employee names…so this hasn’t been the most friendly encounter …she threw another hissy fit put her hands up and stomped away going fine I’ll just give the cash…she tosses the cash across the counter and I told her the amount was still incorrect and suggested we look it over together …she snatched the receipt and the cash back and when I tried to show her where the error she SHUSHED me again! and said “no one is trying to cheat you…you need to understand that”
i looked at her BAFFLED! Like so BAFFLED I said “I don’t think you’re trying to cheat me and no one is trying to cheat you, but you made a mistake….let’s correct it”. when I pointed it out..she FINALLY admit that she was wrong and again tossed me the correct a

Facebook post said 90% off, sign in store says 90% off but get to the register and opps a mistake it was supposed to be 70%.
They just said they would change the sign and post. Terrible customer service!!

That’s a lie. We did ask about the 90% off and the cashier said they could only do 70% after going to “talk to the manager”

Update: a month later and still no call this has been ongoing since Feb 2024. No call back from the owner. Doesn’t seem like anyone cares. Responses to negative reviews below by the owner shows “they are working on their customer service” apparently not! If so I this would have already been resolved by now.
They put my credit on the wrong account. I called multiple times to get this resolved, went to the store in person. Was promised phone call after phone call back, which was never received. I was told that IT and or a supervisor would correct this issue. This has been ongoing since month. Everytime I call they have new employees , no one knows what the hell they are doing and the manager is never there and doesn’t ever get back to you. If I could give zero stars I would. This is the most unorganized store. The girls are beyond clueless and act brain dead. This location should be closed down.

If you’re looking for some of the worst customer service look no further. Those employees must hate their jobs. No greeting when you walk in. When you walk up to the counter to be helped they’ll glance up at you and then just continue looking at their feet rather than ringing you up, I had to say “hello??” in order for the gears in their mindless brains to click on and be like “oh yeah I have a job to do” honestly it’s not worth driving down to shop at.

Me and my fiance went in on July 24th. We live in Bradenton and I heard this place was a buy and sell place and I’m sorry but I don’t think I would go back there. I brought a ton of stuff a bin full of clothes basically new tummy time Matt, toy kitchen , crib,crib mattress,sheets, kids teepee tent. Literally sat there for an hour and got told it was going to be another hour by a really rude cashier for them to grab my stuff and move just the tummy time Matt and proceed to tell me the aren’t buying any off it and didn’t even look threw anything. And on top of that I literally watch a lady bring in some books in very bad condition torn up and colored in and they bay her $60. Which really ticked me off because I literally made sure nothing had stains on it and that they were in good condition/ not missing and part. And they make me take it all back.
The only good thing I have to say is that I did buy a few outfits for my 4yr for her first days of school great condition and good price and also got some cute outfits,shoes,and a Minnie Mouse hate for my one year old all great condition and good price. But honestly wouldn’t have wasted my money there just to have to leave with all the stuff I bought all around bad customer service

LOL Glitter factory. $45 price still on. NEVER opened. Offered $12. However, when they look it up for “todays” price it goes….
They sell for 50% of the today price. Then you get that half. $50. They sell for $25 therefore you will get $12. I guess you can’t post pics anymore on the review site.

I will never sell to this location ever again. Brought in a stroller barely used some toys and a some clothes my 3 year old outgrew only got offered 15.00. The experience I had was awful they had text me saying my order was as I live about 35 minutes away so I had gone back 2 days after they took it upon them selves to give me a store credit instead of giving my money and then I asked about the stuff they didn’t take and the associates proceeded to tell me that oh she probably donated them since you didn’t come back to get them. So which means I did not get my stuff back that they did not take which was not right because you don’t just donate someone else stuff. That’s not right so I will not be shopping there again!!!!

I have been coming to this store for 4 years and usually have such a great experience with all the kind women who work there. Unfortunately, the way I was treated today was completely the opposite. The woman I spoke to (black curly hair, older, heavy set, dark eyes) who took my items spoke to me so rudely and dismissively for absolutely no reason. After returning an hour later for my items, the same cashier was elated and animated when talking to the older woman ahead of me in line. When I stepped up, she walked away and ignored me for a few minutes, then said ‘if you’re picking up go over there.’ Without looking at me.I understand we all have bad days, but if you’re going to be miserable to specific people for no reason, then maybe you should work at a call center instead so you can be alone. I was very excited to go in and have a good time at this awesome store. If she’s there next time, I’ll know to steer clear.To the rest of the women working today, you were so sweet and helpful and I thank you so much for showing kindness to the people who shop there. Keep being amazing!❤️

As someone who once worked with their sister store and know how the process works I’m disgusted. As I bought my daughter a bouncer from the store I noticed it was dirty and asked for a discount which was denied by girls who looked 14 years old. Looking past their disrespect and rudeness I bought the bouncer for $50. Only to get home and realize their is black mold all through out this bouncer like I told them. They have ZERO commitment to the company and people who buy and support the business. My family is disgusted and will inform everyone of their horrible service !!
