Not a good experience with Hannah. I have terrible insomnia and I was waiting for my prescription to be approved by insurance as I'm told in person picking up another rx that it will take 1-2 weeks for approval on this med and they will text me (as I always get a text when ready) when its ok to pick up. 1.5 weeks go by and I get a phone call from Hannah at 8:15 PM stating they are going to restock the script if I don't come and get it. I of course ask why I haven't been notified of this I would have happily came to get it since I haven't slept in a week. First she tells me that the insurance should have told me -I work for a Dr.'s office I know this isn't how this works - Then after I share this with her, She then changes it to I have opted myself out of receiving text messages and thats now the new reason why I wasn't notified-Which is incorrect I tell her and she proceeds to argue with me back n forth for ten minutes, If I had somehow opted out (which I didn't) I would have received an return text stating that I was opted out of received said messages, which I can prove I didn't and even received a text for med pick up a few weeks ago. She was rude and continued to go on and on about this, she was being dishonest. Could have just said, hey we dropped the ball so sorry but no, just rude I had to finally just hang up the phone to keep my peace! Then when I go to pick it up I explain this to the pharmacist who literally has the personality of a sloth and gives me a strange look as he could care less. I just want to make sure I'm still receiving text messages so I can pick up my prescriptions and not be threatened to have them restocked and not available. Hannah was also there not saying much now of course. Point is if you say you are going to notify the patient and don't, Do not lie about the situation and treat the client like crap. Make it right apologize and move on, but not this pharmacy they seriously need an attitude adjustment and some lessons in practicing grace and honesty. I suffered for a 1 and a half weeks waiting on this medication when it was just sitting there.

My Dr. call in a prescription for 90 tablets, 1 every other day. They gave me 45. I called the pharmacy to find out what happened and the woman on the phone told me THEY changed it because the prescription calls for one pill every other day so they gave me 45. I explained that the prescription was supposed to be for 90 TABLETS, not a 90 day supply. I then asked if my Dr. prescribed 90 day supply or 90 tablets. Immediately I heard music playing because she put me on hold without saying anything. Had to drive back to rectify this. Not happy that they voluntarily changed my prescription count then gave me an attitude when I questioned why.

Since the pandemic, customer service at Publix in Sarasota was has gone steadily downhill. Today they had eggplant rollatini on sale in the Deli section. I asked four women working in the Deli section where it located. All four amazingly didn't know what eggplant rollatini actually consisted of (of course, none of the women were Italian), but one them did point out where it might be located. I wrote a letter of complaint to Publix, and they sent me back an impersonal and non-specific form letter that they still would've sent to me if I had hit by a flying ribeye in the meat section. So much for personal customer service at Publix. The letter they sent to me stated: Dear Mr. Bruno, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We regret that we have failed to meet your expectations. We would never knowingly disappoint our customers and we appreciate the trust you have placed in us to address your concern. Our goal is to offer our customers the best shopping experience possible. We apologize that we fell short on our commitment. Our associates receive continuous training throughout their careers at Publix. By bringing this matter to our attention, we are able to use this opportunity as a teachable moment. Thank you. Your concern has been forwarded to the appropriate manager for follow up training with the associate. If we may be of further assistance in this matter, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care department at 1-800-242-1227. I received my two Covid-19 Vaccinations at this Pharmacy. I would like to comment that Harrison, the woman who signed me in and checked me off and gave me directions both times was a lovely person, very kind, friendly, and professional. She is a credit to this store. I watched her with three other people and she was lovely to them as well. The pharmacist was also professional and efficient. Well done.

Be very careful when in the parking lot of this Publix. My Mom was mugged here on 4/28/2014. Management of this Publix did not even check to see if she was ok. Re-thinking this store as my primary.
