Convenient location for those of us who live north of downtown Sarasota. It is a smaller store but still carries many of the essentials that we use. It also has a pharmacy and a liquor store next door.

Is there anyone ever behind the deli? I can never get service at that deli counter. It's sad. Multiple people are on their cell phones all the time. The prices you all charge you would expect to have a much more customer service oriented store.

This is the absolute worst publix I have ever been to! I waited probably 10 minutes at the bakery for assistance, manager after manager walked by behind the counter, looked right at me! No one ever acknowledged me in the entire store. I saw managers, employees all ignoring customers. I wasn't the only one frustrated in there. They had 0 sourdough bread half the stuff I needed they were out of. I left my remaining items in the cart and walked out. As I was walikng out there was a lady yelling at bakery "HELLO" for help, this young girl skinny girl with glasses came up with an attitude and said " what do you need" I'll drive 4 miles down the road to a better publix. You really need to do a staffing over haul in this one. The employee in the frozen section smelled like weed! Extremely disappointed in this store!!!! If I could give minus 5 stars I would. For the prices you'd think you'd get good service? NOPE

Restrooms are buried at the opposite side of the store from the entrance. They were filthy at 2 pm on a Saturday. The women's room only has 2 stalls, and the handicap stall was locked with no one in it. The open stall had a full, dirty toilet nobody flushed. The floor had trash and torn up bits of paper all over. Signage on the hand dryer said to use a paper towel to stop the spread of disease, yet no paper towels were supplied in the restroom.
The men's room door was wide open for everyone to see inside when walking past.
I asked an employee to let the manager know the restrooms were pretty dirty and needed attention. Instead of calling her manager or supervisor, she told me the restrooms are cleaned every night. I'm sure they are, but they needed attention when I brought it up. Usually there's a sign posted inside Publix restrooms telling customers to let staff know if they need attention.
What happened to Publix? Shopping here was not a pleasure.

Very disappointed. My 14 year old loves to give out free hugs so we came here to do so with our free hugs sign and were going to get a few groceries once we finished but we were kicked out for doing a good deed. I will never shop here and I will encourage my family to never shop here again. So disgraceful and very disappointing. Glad to know this company is shady now.
