I can't say enough good things about my local Publix grocery store! I find myself there almost every other day, and it’s truly become a second home for me. The convenience of its location is just the start; what makes this place special are the incredible people who work there.
I’ve gotten to know many of the staff members, and it’s heartwarming to see that most of them are from the neighborhood. They bring a sense of community to the store, and their friendliness makes every shopping trip enjoyable. Just today, I had a touching interaction with Emily, one of the cashiers I've come to admire. She was having a tough day due to an unpleasant encounter with a customer who was unreasonably aggressive. It was clear that it affected her, and I felt compelled to offer some encouragement.
I reminded her that she is a valuable part of the team and that her smile brightens the day for many of us. It was lovely to see her appreciate the support. We shared a hug, and it felt good to lift her spirits, even if just a little.
This experience served as a powerful reminder of the importance of kindness and understanding. We never know what someone else is going through, and it’s crucial to treat each other with grace.
I am grateful to have such a supportive and caring team at my local Publix. They consistently go above and beyond to meet our grocery needs, all within a cozy neighborhood setting. Thank you to everyone at Publix for being fantastic—you truly make a difference!

This is a very, very small publix. In a way, it reminded me of an old grocery store from 40 years ago! However, it had enough for .e to do a quick grab and go of the items I wanted. Not a tremendous amount of options though on many goods

Produce is ALWAYS rotten. I’ve lost so much money buying fruit and vegetables from this place. The meat is awful too! I am convinced they freeze everything and then put it out on the floor. It never fails, every time! I’ve complained to the employees and they look at me with a blank stare, it’s terrible. Not to mention the prices are astronomical and they sell a ton of bioengineered food, shame! Much prefer detweilers or Whole Foods.

This Publix is great! They have groceries and you can buy them and take them home. For real though, the place is clean, the products are fine, and the employees are nice.

Just bought some sushi on my lunch break took one bite and realized how extremely bad it is! Literally tastes and smells of rotted fish. The tuna inside is literally see through when it's supposed to be red. You all are going to get someone sick!!!!

We recently visited the Publix Bee Ridge store and it was a nasty experience!
Firstly, we bought a chicken from the Greenwise brand and the expiry date said April 19. I trusted the date and bought it.
The day after, the chicken smelled horrible & was with a grayish color and my family was hesitant to eat it.
Please, make yourself a favor and do not trust Publix for your poultry needs.
