Delightful lunch, not rushed and we spent lots of time talking. A bit pricey for 1/2 sandwich and small salad, but it was lovely atmosphere and would go back.

Once again Mike, Dino, and the incomparable chef have knocked one out of the park. Every time my husband and I come we are treated like royalty. This time we brought guests who also loved the experience. From the bread basket to the signature bread pudding the food was amazing. Best salads and salad dressings anywhere. Excellent coffee. Fabulous service. Sophie's is the best!

I dine here regularly. It's my favorite place for lunch in the UTC area. Wonderful food with daily specials, great staff and quiet, calming atmosphere on most days--unless there's a ladies party!

Always a treat to come to Sophie's. Great hidden gem inside Sak's. The food is amazing. It's a small intimate place. Great to stop here for lunch while shopping or for lunch with the girls.

We always have a great time at Sophie's! Food was great and the service is way beyond great! We all had the Avenue burger (they were cooked as ordered, which is getting harder to find these days) and had just the right amount of toppings. We will be back!

Mike, the manager, and Dino, who was our Server, were both fantastic and went above and beyond to be sure that our visit was memorable. The food was outstanding as always!

Sophie's at Saks Fifth Avenue in Sarasota offers a special and intimate dining experience! Mike does a great job overseeing every aspect of their restaurant operations and Dino helped us have a wonderful dining experience. He helped us with our every request. The Avenue Burger is excellent and not to be underestimated. If you are looking for a special and memorable dining experience at UTC this is the place to go. We love it and visit Sophie's often!

I walked in to get a sample of some cream for my mother, and it was overflowing so i asked for a second jar to put it in. The woman at the Chanel counter agreed, and gave me one. I went over to the other counter and put half into the other container, and this other lovely woman gave me another container as well so I could make a sample for myself, as she knew what my mom and I were doing there. As I was doing so, Chanel woman came over and began publicly shaming me, accusing me of lying to her to “steal product”. She got in my face and began yelling at me like I was a small child. Thankfully, the other lady rushed over after hearing her yell, and told her what I was doing, Chanel lady murmured “sorry” and then immediately said “you aren’t allowed to make your own samples of products on your own”, still completely oblivious to the fact that I was instructed to do just that. I’ve never encountered a more obnoxious person. Also, in case you guys read these, it was a tall woman with a platinum blonde haircut working the Chanel counter at 5:30 PM on 01/04/25. My mom was about to buy thousands of dollars of product with a company credit card (we were gathering items to donate to a basket auction). We ended up going to dillards instead, they are far kinder. Total came to $7322.32 out of my moms employer for said charity auction. She returned the one cream she bought using her own money back to Saks because of this woman. She does this once a year, and we will always go to dillards instead.

Originally came in to exchange a perfume I received for Christmas, but after dealing with the rude salespeople (especially the manager,) I decided to return the perfume completely. The manager treated my husband like he was an imbecile, and I couldn’t get out of the store fast enough. I still don’t think they refunded us properly. On our way out, I did see the perfume brand I wanted to try, but the fragrance lady didn’t even care to talk to me (she kept talking with another older white lady.) I’ve worked retail, and the least she could’ve done is greet me and say “I’ll be right with you.” We’re never stepping into this Saks again.

My experience with Rana was amazing. I was in looking at different colognes and she was not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but very warm and genuine as well. I ended up purchasing because of her and she also sent me away with several samples to boot. I sincerely hope she stays with the company as she is a valuable asset to Saks and made me feel heard as a customer.
