Adorable, eclectic, authentic and super-hygge (if you don’t know what that means, go to the store to find out)! The staff was friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. I wish we had a branch in SF.

What a unique and unexpected place! Very fanciful store with decor, household goods, and consumables from many European countries. The lady that works here has been working here for decades and was so kind and just fun to talk to. Definitely worth checking out this store. Prices are definitely high, but most items are incredibly unique and I cannot imagine you can easily obtain them elsewhere.

Great shop. My wife and I come here to find all the things we miss from Scandinavian countries. We spend too much money here when we visit. They have lots of Norwegian, Icelandic, and Swedish treats. They have a great assortment of books, trinkets, and holiday items for gifts. They have some specialty candies from Norway, Denmark, Germany ( and more) that are worth trying! Grab yourself some salted black licorice!

I want to give it 5stars but I can’t. They are so unorganized it’s overwhelming and annoying to shop in there. If they did things right they could also have more room to shop.Candy should be with candy. Books with books. Clothes with clothes. You get the idea. Instead it’s a scattered garage sale with new items. The other negative is the pricing it is way overpriced: $15 for chocolates? $20 for coffee that I can get on Amazon for $12? Family can ship over from Swed. for $8 a bag. All those candies are overpriced. Way overpriced.I also understand rent is expensive, so I’ll give them benefit of doubt, however, certain things should not exceed normal market value. You’re supposed to make up costs by being smart and delegate prices to the right items. I should not have to see a $60 bowl. 1 bowl?? I can understand the whole set. I mean did they every hear about quantity is where price is at? If they sold those candies or kitchen items at lower price that met their costs, more would buy and it’d turn a larger profit. Like I said, smart. But to spend a Benjamin on a few items—that’s a bit extreme. So the 4stars is for being unique. We need more of these stores, around. Also, I suggest selling good low cost cold drinks. It’s hot out there. Advertising cold Nordic Drinks could bring more people in with this heat! You guys need holiday drinks like Julmust

Gone several times. Lost customer. Went in quietly and right to the toy section. I needed to buy a nice baby shower gift and the kids wanted each a toy. We went straight to that area. My kids knew to be quite as if we were in a library and to not touch things unless I approved. My oldest spotted a musical note toy (sort of like a bell xylophone). There was one that was not in a box as the others. Like most stores.... I assumed that the one out of the box was fine for her to do what she did.... She sat down gently and tried to see if she could play the notes. Gently she played small notes making sure she was not loud. I've always taught my kids to be very respectful. A lady came by and asked if she could help. I politely told her no thank you . I then showed my little one a toy car and how the doors opened and closed to see if maybe she wanted it. A minute later the lady came back and said that the kids can't play with any toys as she needs to sell them all retail value. I was caught off guard. No toys were taken of boxes. We were not ruining anything.I ended up leaving and will not be returning.I will say this store does have cute unique things to purchase. I know this because I've gotten many things from them but will no longer be returning due to my experience today. There is a store called Molly's Boutique that has nice gifts go there.

They have most of the food items you'd want from Sweden. Way better than ikea.

Cute shop with Scandinavian products. It is a great place for unique gifts. They have a great selection of candles and they have a huge refrigerator full of Kringles from Wisconsin.
