Ok, yes I'm an employee. However, I've only worked here for one week. I gotta say, this is the coolest place I have ever worked. The entire staff have welcome me very warmly and made me feel as I'm part of there team asap. I'm not here to sale you anything about this store. This is me giving you my personal view.First off the customers really are the best part of my job. Its been a joy talking to so many new faces from all over the U.S. they have made this a great place to work. I do want to touch on the items. I'm truly shocked by the quality of the inventory. The owner and manager has truly gone above the rest to find true quality clothing for this store. I've see the cost sheets and this prices. Not to mention I've personally have felt the material. This is good stuff. I haven't come across anything that was cheaply made. Not to mention the blankets and towels are great too. There is something for everyone here too. May it be, if your conservative, or a party animal, we got you. I haven't seen anyone rude in the store to anyone. Everyone has been very nice for customer to staff. Again I know I work here. But let me tell you if your staff is happy then so are the customers and I love it there. I hope to see you too, so come by even just to say hi. I will see you at Siesta Tees out on the key. This is my update after a few months of working there. All in all the best part of my job are the people. I still love all the customers that come in on vacation, everyone is in a happy mood and I have no complaints. The owner is wonderful. And so sweet. I own several items from the store now and still love the quality off the products. I highly suggest in stopping by if your out in the village.

From what I am seeing from other reviews? Mine is not an exaggeration. The people who work here are extremely unfriendly and need a lesson in customer service. Why would I even give these people my money when they treat me like I’m trash or something.Totally not a vibe that belongs on Siesta Key. Go back to wherever you came from- under a bridge maybe ??

Wow- JUST WOW. This place is a joke. I seriously don't know how it's even in The Village? The shirts are so gross and bad quality. My husband loves soft shirts and these are not that. The prices? Omg. Really? They are serious like, three times what they are worth. The worst part of this store is the people who work here. I don't know what the man's name was (didn't say hello or introduce himself) but he was SO RUDE. I tried getting help and it was like I was bothering him. Maybe other people who work here are nice but today I tried getting help from a youngish-white guy- brown hair with a beard. Avoid him at all costs. So yeah, a negative one star- if I could.

I would give this place no Stars, if I could. The clothing is over priced... and very badly made. Scratchy and cheap looking. The cherry on top of this place is the employees. I had a gentleman (if you could call him that), that was not helpful and short with me. I was trying to get help and he was just rude. So, in summary, this place had over priced-crappy stuff and the staff is rude. Why even go here?

We were on a mission to find some souvenir matching hoodies or shirts for our kids and would have liked to check this place out but as soon as we entered the lady at the counter yelled "You can't bring drinks in here". We had a bottle of water and a bottle of Gatorade with the lids on and tightened as we had just been in the store next door and wanted to make sure we didn't spill. We had no issues in the other store which was very upscale with very expensive clothing. Had it not been 90+ degrees, maybe we wouldn't have needed drinks walking around the area. Maybe a place near the counter for customers to set their drinks would have been better than the greeting we received. Our money was spent elsewhere and the kids loved their purchases.

Don't skip, just read... The rating is well earned.I'm not sure where to start other than we didn't even make it past the very grumpy (presumably owner) bouncer at the door.We have older, very well behaved children and one had a tightly closed drink in their hand; no sooner than crossing the door threshold, the wicked witch of Siesta Key siezed upon my child spewing a very hateful "NO DRINKS ALLOWED!" She's 10 you nasty wench - how are you still in business with this attitude? We did not see the "NO DRINKS" sign... so our bad, but zero people deserve to be treated the way we, and apparently many others have (by way of review), the way you treated us. There was zero chance that we were willing to come back once our drinks were finished. In the end, we found a friendly retailer nearby and scored some fun swag.

Rude old man and lady acting like idiots to customers. Worse tee shirt store we have ever been too. Be careful they sell damaged shirts with hidden tears and holes and will not refund or exchange once you leave the store. We will NEVER GO BACK

Worst customer service we’ve ever received. We had bought souvenirs from here last vacation so wanted to come back but literally as we walked in the door this old grumpy guy immediately said, “You can’t have a stroller in here it’s too much.” (No one was in the store except one other couple) Then as we moved it to the side to basically not push around in their store the same guy said, “no drinks allowed in here either” as we had our water bottles sitting in the stroller. As a side note we have a well behaved family; it’s not like we came running the through the doors or our kids were crazy. Instead of greeting us when we walked in, we got a list of orders that were unnecessary. We have a family of 7 so we had every intention of loading up on all the things, which means helping their small business but I can tell you the judgemental ownership might just kill em! We went next door and dropped $500 instead! Good riddance!

Old guy is an A-hole to say the least! Do not shop here! If I could give a .10th of a star I would! As my family of 6 (girls at that) are very respectful in any business we go in because that is what we demand as parents, got ridiculed by this j*** when we walked in with a stroller because supposedly they aren't allowed. I stood off to the side with our 2 year old quietly to be respectful while the girls shopped and I watched him watch our older kids like they were going to steal something. Then another couple walks in and he starts in on them about something stupid as well. The customer service is out the door with this guy. After he started in on someone else I said that's enough and gathered the girls and we went a shop or two down and spend over 600 dollars. We weren't gonna let captain D head ruin our once every 4 year trip to siesta key beach! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Store clerk was extremely rude. I heard him actually curse at another customer and her daughter. Save yourself an unpleasant experience and shop somewhere else.

Very cute little shop. Staff was not the friendliest but they weren’t totally miserable either. Cute shirts and other souvenirs are available. Some prices seemed to be a little high. Checkout was smooth.

Customer service was poor. Young man was rude and when checking out. Very short when speaking to my family and clearly more interested in closing up than giving good customer service. Not many sizes available. We found three different sweatshirts we liked and not available in the sizes we were looking for. The sweatshirt we decided on had many loose strings. We asked if they had any more or what could be done. He took a pair of scissors, cut them off and said "good as new. If you don't want it, don't buy it." That just came across very rude because I had asked him not to cut that off to prevent it from unraveling more. I did purchase a souvenir from there but will not return based off the interaction we experienced at checkout.

My husband and I purchased a quarter zip hoodie for our toddler last night. I washed the hoodie with nothing else and when the wash finished, the zipper had snapped off. I brought the defective hoodie to the store this morning to exchange, with my receipt. I told the man working (who was also flossing his teeth) what happened and asked for an exchange and he proceeded to aggressively ask why he needed to eat the cost because I broke something. He asked my mother and I if we bought a car and wrecked it who would eat that cost. Well, Sir, if I bought a car it would come with a warranty and if the door handle falls off when I open it (standard expected use), then the warranty would cover that. This is basic customer service. Stand by your product. Or don’t and treat customers (who love shopping and were prepared to purchase additional items) terribly. I’m honestly shocked that this $30 hoodie which probably cost him less than $15 was worth throwing away a couple hundred more in potential sales from us.Needless to say, there are so many lovely shops in town with friendly, proper customer service. We’ve had nothing but the best time here and are just disappointed this sad person put a little bad taste in our mouths this morning!
