Food was good, but you order at a kiosk, you pick up the food at the front and they still ask for a tip. ?

Ok so I’m not sure why people are complaining about a kiosks, it used other BIG BURGER PLACES. First time I used it here and my order was correct! The dill pickles were especially fresh. There is no question the milk shakes are excellent! Burgers were good and we had zero issues! I’ve not been here in a long time and I would recommend you revisit. The onion rings are real onion fair style which I like.

I can't speak on the food as I only go in for the milkshakes. Shakes are top notch. I found out that they no longer do the half and half shakes, and the cups seem much smaller than I remember. My last visit was 2019. Very little human interaction as they have kiosks taking orders. I guess that is the way of the future, but I'm not a fan.

Whatever dystopian nonsense this is where you have to use a kiosk to order food, or make the drink machine work, with no interaction with humans sucks. The atmosphere is miserable and like an assembly line, the machine experience is clunky, and I have no interest in helping them keep this up. They took most of the food options I would have eaten with my allergies, like this sucks, and it feels like something out of black mirror. I’d give zero stars for service but I can’t, you do all the work except cook it. I refuse to patronize places that make me work, up charge for me serving myself, and have no redeeming qualities to make up for it. If I have to work then discount it, I don’t work here and it ruins the experience that there is no human option except maybe a drive through? Still go somewhere else

Slow service food disappointing. I ordered season fries and the seasoning looked like it had been thrown on the plate. Sandwich soggy. I won't eat there again. 3/18/24. Made the mistake of eating there again. Figured I would try it again. Wasted $10. Greasy hamburger, soggy fries from greasy hamburger, no service at the booth anymore, order at the kiosk and go get your food when it's done. NOT handicap friendly AT ALL!! Spoke to the manager before I left. Just wasted my time. Drive thru is cool, but I don't recommend dining room.

Me and my family went there to get shakes they were great but they forgot mine and then gave me the wrong one it was still good but bummed out it wasn’t the shake I wanted.

Sad shell of a formerly good restaurant.... only giving 1 star because the food that we were able to get was decent. First off you order on a kiosk with no human interaction or clue as to what they are out of, which is where the issues began... We ordered 2 burger combo meals and a chili 5 way. We go get a table and clean off 1 of the 2 dirty highchairs for my daughter and the go get our drinks..an employee comes out and asks about for order #101 which was ours and proceeds to tell me they are out of noodles and asked if I'd like to get something different, to which I said no thank you and just to cancel it and he says the manager will have to do that. We get our food (much longer wait than would've been expected as there was only 2 other tables and they already had their food) and I again ask the employee if they took it off the bill and he says "she'll have to do it when she's done with milkshakes". We proceed to eat our dinner and finish up I go to the counter to have someone fix our check and a second employee drops a to-go order on the counter and starts to walk away and then turns back and asks" do you need something" which I tell her that we need the chilli 5 way taken off our check and she again offers me something else , to which I tell her we have already eaten and don't want anything else, just to take it off our check. She then says the have a no refund policy and she will have to talk to her manager,which she spoke to on the headset (supposedly) and tells me they can't do anything. The only reason I did not put up more of a fight at the counter was because I was with my mother and18 month old daughter. This is completely unacceptable and we will not be returning. The manager never came and spoke to us or anything. Had I known they were out of the chilli 5 way I would have never ordered it (only ordered in the first place so my daughter could eat some pasta and shredded cheese) and had I known there were no refunds I would've canceled the whole order from the start. Completely ridiculous and unprofessional, it's honestly sad.If you do not have an item, it shouldn't be an option to order. The inability to refund is ridiculous, and scammy. If you don't have staff to run a restaurant, make some adjustments

Went for lunch, the staff were very pleasant, however our shakes were delivered to the wrong table and after the couple who received them drank out of them, the staff member tried to serve them to us. Witnessing the whole thing go down just completely grossed me out. Rest in peace Steak n’ Shake…you’re not how I remember
